We saw a bit of the race in the ending of Ferra / Torr. But I think for the race to be viable, it would need a reproductive intermediate stage between the infant stage and brutes we saw in the ending.

I believe that this work playable reproductive intermediary for Ferra would be interesting and you give Feras control capability (which could serve to bring Motaro back in a variation, since it only had six movements in the trilogy).
