If I were at the helm of marketing and PR for Netherrealm Studios I would use the remaining time until launch like this.

Reveal a character a week until the closed beta. Drop a trailer after the beta that reveals other fighters.

Use combat casts to show off game play of all revealed characters with commentary over fights. They don't have to go over everything. Just highlight some moves they use during live gameplay.

Thoughts?
