Ive noticed this with several characters that some kombos i just cant pull off.jonny cage sonya blade shang sung to name a few.ive tried changing input timing to short med and long.also several characters down down moves u have to mash down button for it to register.jax fist pump buff i have to mash down.same with cetrion furious winds and earthquake.most carachters that say down down input.

They work you just need to input it very fast. I think you are talking about 244 string for Johnny right? 21U2D2 for Shang? And that 2 you have to mash with Sonya I believe? Liu Kang has 212, Erron 21212 etc. Some strings are like that, I have no idea why.

Are you playing online ranked?

One of the reasons I completely refuse to play online, especially ranked, is because there's a strange, deliberate delay. I'm used to tapping out one after the other, but there seems to be a half-to-one-second delay for inputs that I just can't get used to.
