Very interesting that they say Shawn Kittelson was working with since Injustice 1. That was eight years ago, nine years if he was working with NRS during the development of that game. They also must start working on the roster pretty early.

That's game development. Not only are they about to release MK11, but Injustice 3 is probably a third of the way done along with tentative planning for MK12.
