I've stated my mild distaste for guest characters who serve no purpose other than being a microtransaction. That said, I'd be all for Zebron making an appearance. We've already had one (very bad) joke character in Mokap. So, with all the improvements made on previously lackluster characters, why not try to introduce another (better) joke character? NRS can always quickly put him out of his misery as they did with Mokap.

If they put Zebron in I will make him my main.

I would assume Zebron would etch his place in the established plot somehow, just like Mokap. Besides, he's an original character created by someone who worked for Midway. It's not like we're rehashing what some would consider disappointments from a past installment with the hope that it helps NRS turn an even bigger profit so they can continue to shell out games that need to be updated in order to remove bugs and mend broken mechanics. I paid for MKX when the "XL" version was released. I did the same with MK9 when the Komplete Edition was released. I didn't have to pay microtransactions for Kombat Packs that would be free in a future release. If I don't like the majority of characters (meaning that I'd still like one or more) from the Kombat Packs in MK11, I'll wait for the release of the Komplete Edition and get everything for twenty bucks or cheaper, given the existence of eBay and Amazon.

At this point in time, I'm pre-ordering. But, if this game turns out to resemble Injustice more than MK9 or MKX, I'll wait for content to be uploaded to YouTube, judge it based on what I see, and maybe get a discounted version and be happy with my decision.
