Issue with Kung Lao "mind of its own" brutality

I wanted to see if anyone else is having issues performing this brutality. I can do the brutality but I do it inconsistently. I press and hold forward but cannot do it without fail. Sometimes it just fails. Is there a known issue with this one or when do you know when to press and hold forward.

I know the feeling - I'll test out Kung Lao and see if there's a strategy to it, but some of these Brutalities are just...plain...broken.

For example, Raiden - Elder Storm Strike - a back throw, and you hold L1 during it. This Brutality does not and has NEVER worked, ever. Period. And I've been trying it since launch. I have absolutely never gotten it to work for the entire time the game has been out.

Maybe I dont have it unlocked. Which is it, what are you supposed to do?

Yeah it has to be unlocked and visible under each characters finisher screen. The brutality I mentioned hits upper body first in the arm. I almost feel like if the opponent ducks or is in a slightly different frame it will break the brutality. I hope these moves get patched.

I've tested this myself. To do Raiden's back throw Brutality you need to have Rapid Charge (down, back, 3) active

I think you can do brutalities without being unlocked, you need to in know the input only. Same with fatalities

Can u tell the kung Laos brutality you want to do? The input

That is for Fatalities only. Brutalities must be unlocked to use.
