I hesitated to make an entirely new thread for this, but damn, guys.

His daughter used to have his action figure. And when she was all grown up and didn't play with it anymore, he kept it. It's always on him, even when he's fighting for his life.

*cries*

Best-conceived character in Mortal Kombat history. So much personality. Too much personality.

There was a guy named Xiaoduh84 around here... Smart guy, knew very well the Mk lore, wrote some good fan fiction etc.

But when it came to Johnny Cage he became like a bull charging a red cape... He really hated Johnny failing to see his personality and charisma just because... Hate.

If you aee still here, Xiao, that's why Johnny is such a great character.

Kind of sucks the fun out of that victory pose for me.

I just took it as another egotistical flex on Johnny's part.

Johnny: Just beat a guy into the ground, gotta look good for the cameras! Hey kids! Don't forget to buy your very own Johnny Cage action figure!

Cage has been a low key favorite character of mine since MK1 but I played him the most in MK2 great character & very charismatic and filled with ego since day one but it makes him so loveable in his own weird way, He looks phenomenal in MK11 and this is also a nice nod towards Toy Story!

It still is a ridiculous ego flex. Just with an extra thread of sentiment running beneath it.

I like that his character gets to have more than one personality trait at a time these days.
