Cassie inherited Johnny's powers.

I tapped on to this topic awhile ago and in a different forum. But like the comment above me said, Cassie has signs of Johnny's powers so it was shot down as well. Beside is got out of hand with the idea of Kano and Sonya sex which turned into rape and we know Netherrealm wouldn't dare add that to the story no matter how bad/evil Kano is.

But I had an idea which i think would have worked better in the comics considering Cassie is repping her dad's name in the game. Anyway i thought that it would have been cool if Kano found out Sonya had a kid and being the bad guy he is, stole Cassie and raised her as his own. Trained by other members of the Black Dragon including himself. She grew up in a life of crime and was just as Kold as her "Father" on missions but was more lighthearted.

Years pass and Sonya & Johnny discover where she's been all along. Shocked by the revelation there daughter is still alive & worst with their most hated rival, they set out to get her back and reveal the truth. Over time they get to her and start to shed light on her past. But Kano won't just let that happen ofcourse. He has grown quite fond of his "daughter" but in the end she turns on him and injures him as she escapes resulting in his new Cybernetic Heart.

On top of what Razor said (welcome back btw), Sonya and Kano HATE each other so how would this pairing happen besides rape? And that would be unnecessary so her being Cage's kid just works better, sorry to burn your ship.
