Li Mei really fits in with what MK is originally about. The original MK games had the characters based off martial arts characters. Li Mei is the young girl martial artist. I really want them to capitalize on that and make her the female shaolin.

I seriously hope she is playable in the next game. There are a lot of interesting things that they could do with her. She appears to be more or less the spokesperson/leader of the Outworld refugees. Given how Earthrealm/Outworld animosity had seemingly reignited at the end of MKX's story mode this could be a flashpoint. Do the refugees want to return? Can they return? Does Kotal view them as traitors now or does he view them as needing to be liberated from Earthrealm control?

There's a lot that can happen from this situation.

She can be DLC in this game and playable in the next game. Just saying.

Li Mei for next game?

I want Li Mei for this game already.

I think she has some pretty good chances. NRS has always seemed to like her and she is the only NPC female who has a completely new costume.

Why do you guys want all those characters you hated during 3D era all of a sudden?

You cant say that for all of us. Li Mei has ALWAYS been one of my favorites. Ever since Deadly Alliance. The 3D era did produce a few duds, but the good ones always get grouped in eith them and people dont see their potential. Fujin, Li Mei, Bo Rai Cho, Frost, Havik, Hotaru, and Sareena all has a lot of potential and deserve a chance like Kenshi, Tanya, and Shinnok.

The 3D MK games and the characters have always been quite popular here.

I personally liked the 3D MK games (especially Deadly Alliance) but I was never a fan of Li Mei. The idea of having an Asian-looking female martial artist in MK is good by itself but they ruined the character by giving her Mileena's sais, swimsuit outfits and awful fatalities. Of course they could make her character more interesting this time around but let's see.

They realized that giving her sais was a mistake and they gave her a sword in Deception.

Why not UMKX next year? Li Mei, Sareena, Havik, Rieko, Smoke, Baraka, Rain, Sindel, Fujin, Bo Rai Cho and 2 New Characters

Add 2-3 Chapters to Story Mode that include the Blood God
Add 1 slide to Arcade Endings

I would be very interesting if Li Mei this time becomes evil after being saved by bo rai cho if they want to use their soul again after winning the tournament,that just if doesn't change that parte of the storyline.

I would live Li Mei to step up and fight. She seems older in this time line and would make a good ally for the forces of light. As long as the badge can't bring her to darkness like Onaga did we are good. I welcome Li Mei back revamped and awesome

I've always liked her, but now she has probably become my most wanted character for the next game. There is just so much they could do with her - her return is long overdue!

I would like to have a greater role than mere return. But to be the protagonist (the one that defeats the villain at the end of Story Mode). The Champion of Outworld.

If she isn't playable in the next game I will rip my hair out and ouch does that sound painful lol.
