MKXI Stage concepts

What stages would you like to see in Mortal Kombat 11? What stages would you like to see return? How would you design this game's version of The Pit? What new stage concepts do you have?

Stages I want to return:

The living forest
The graveyard
The Pit
The wastelands
Jade's desert
Sky temple
The waterfront

Pit redesign ideas (since it has a new design in each game):

- A canyon with several pointy, jagged stones (or cactuses) at the bottom
- A bridge that is over a huge ocean full of sharks

New stage ideas:
- The courtyard of a dangerous, corrupt prison. The stage fatality involves throwing your enemy into a restricted area, where they will be shot repeatedly by either a firing squad or snipers.
- A ship sailing through the seas of Outworld
- A haunted castle or mansion full of twisted spirits and ghosts
- Something similar to the thunder dome from Mad Max
- An octagon or wrestling ring
- An abandoned amusement park
- A village up in the trees of a huge forest (like Endor from Star Wars)

I think they should make a level to where you play in the Chaos Realm and you see Nitara's species of vampire flying around in the background.

Great ideas! I especially like the sailing ship stage.

Returning stages: Acid Bath, Hidden Portal, Bank, Beetle Lair, Chamber of Artefacts, Noob Saibot's Dorfen, Wind World and Waterfront.
... here's your Subzero, now plain zero.

Kreeya's Encampment, Water Falls, Yokai Unit, Z'Unkarrah Chateau, Nekros Underground, Lei Chen Ritual, Mega Dome, Cobalt District, Lower Mines Plant 2 and Aerodrome Strip.

Any more ideas?

- Chaos realm (MKD inspired)

- Wind world (MK4 inspired )

- Reptile's Lair (MK4 inspired)

- Elder god arena (MK4 inspired)



Dark oriental inspired stages are what interest me the most. More realm like stages, less earth like stages.

First of all.. I may be in the minority, but I think MKX's stages had TOO MUCH going on. Don't get me wrong, they looked beautiful, but its like they wanted to cram them with everything they could possibly think of.. I would like them to go back to basics, because honestly even though they looked good, I can't think of one that I would ever care to see again.. So go back to basics.. Less can be more as long as you make them look good. That being said:

Returning Stages I would like to see:
1)Living Forest
2)Pit2 With flat concrete bottom
3) Shang Tsungs Ship
4) Chaos Realm
5)Shokan Lair
6)Hidden Portal


New Stages
1)Fujins temple
2)Centaur lair
3)Moon (just for fun)
4)Tekunin Base
5)New Liu Kangs Nether realm Stage
6) New Outworld/Edenia stages
