I only used the forge for some time and that was when I was lacking soulfragments. As for now, I don't have any use...

Oh, now that I really checked the whole list I see you can craft gears?? hellllllll, that is useful for sure. I'll check it out....

Maybe there's more gear to unlock as we discover some recipes in the future.

I can't fucking believe I could have been forging the meteorite core this whole time I've been trying the outworld steel and meteorite dust with another item when it's just been those 2 all along!!!! Lmfao!!!!!!

The Forge is unfortunately such a wasted opportunity to obtain some really rare and unique gear, which I'd originally assumed was the whole point of it?

I have to say, frustratingly most konsumables in this game are utterly pointless. If you're going to use them in a fight because you're up against some cheap cpu boss who's got stacks of them in the ToT, all you really need is the big Shards of Life and combined with a strong offensive one like Red Dragon Beam Emitter or Special Forces Radio and you barely need to fight, irrespective of what they're using.

There's a few ok bits of gear you can craft, but some of it is utter junk... a satchel for the Kollector? A blood vial for Skarlet? A shadow for Noob? BUGS for D'Vorah? Ugh. It's all the stuff you can't even see in the midst of action.

Kitana's fans are nice, I think I even use both of them on a couple of my load outs, Khan's hammer is cool, Jade and Baraka both get actual *headgear* which is great... even if both are rather crap and ugly looking, but at least they're visually noticeable pieces of gear that will change how your character actually looks.

Was hoping the forge would have held some amazing gear or perhaps even skins, but it's sadly largely junk just to pad out the game in the aim of collecting it all.
