Region-exclusives.... What century are we in?

To be completely honest, I don't really care.

The two skins revealed so far look pretty awesome. I would definitely rock a pirate Kano if I ever played him or a kold war Skarlet.

Having said that, being a Canadian and liking the look of Baraka. Give me Beaver Baraka.

Or an Aunt Jemimah Raiden who throws maple syrup instead of thunder.

I'll even take Sub-Zero with a Canadian Hockey jersey on.

Being Canadian, I feel most comfortable ripping on my own stereotypes. But for America I wouldn't be surprised to see a straight up american flag skin, probably Sonya or something.

Japan it would be cool if we saw some sort of Mario related skin.

I think if there were going to be a US skin, we probably would have heard about it by now. My guess is these are a small way to boost sales in secondary markets, and larger game markets like Japan & the US won't get one.

That said.... I also feel like they'll probably only be exclusives for 3 months or so, then get released in a bundle worldwide so... meh.

Mortal Kombat is not released in Japan. I am fairly sure for that reason alone there will not be any Japan only skin for a character. If there is a Japanese themed skin pack then it would be released for everyone like in MKX.
