Terrible news, kittelsen the guy who did the shardes of crappiness that's MKX comics, is more involved in this game's story.

Personally I don't like his work at all!

That's kind of a shitty thing to say, but you're entitled to your opinion.

He wrote the comics based on a BETA script of the story that they ultimately changed for the game without letting him know.

The comics weren't bad, by any stretch, they just didn't match up. They still hold up as canon, however. Also, we can confirm he did indeed help write the story along with Dom C, and John Vogel. All 3 of them wrote this beast.

Maybe wait to make your opinion until the game is out, eh?

I'm sure one person doesn't just sit down and write the entire story from beginning to end and then turn it in.

It's a collaborative effort. Everyone has a hand in everything.

I don’t mind Kittelsen being involved. He doesn’t have full reign of the story either. He’s always been cool when answering questions on twitter, so I’m not going to completely write him off for a few questionable moments in the comics.

And hes a fan like us. As well as the fact he appreciates the underdog, underappreciated characters that most of us like and NRS likes to hardly ever use which makes his involvement in the story, at least to me, very interesting.

The comics were great. They actually made me like Scorpion.

I think the Kittelsen comics were fantastic. I'm happy to hear he's involved in the MK11 story.

Why couldn't this ending have happened?

Makes sense to have him involved so if he's doing an MK 11 comic series there's a strong continuity between the game's story and the comics.

I personally found the entire MKX story to be rather lackluster, so I'm disappointed either way.

Still, I do hope this game's story is better. Luckily, it appears this game's story is going to do away with MKX's.

The comics were fantastic and much better than the story in the game so this is extremely good news for MK11.
