Yeah I thought that was interesting. Is it just a “beat the game, unlock the boss” type of deal? Maybe some fights with MKX characters that aren’t playable?

Not to read too much in to it, but characters is obviously plural, but he doesn’t directly answer the question. There will be multiple hidden characters doesn’t necessarily mean there will be multiple unlockable hidden characters.

So Yeah, I’ll be curious to see how that pans out, but I’d be shocked if we got the full day one roster of 25 characters and then playing the game allowed us to bump that number up to 28 or something by finding and unlocking hidden characters. Just a guess though, even if that would be awesome to see.

Sorry to say I don't trust NRS on this one.

I was thinking they'd follow the Injustice 2 model and have the boss character playable once you beat the story.
