MK11 ruined Sindel for me (story-wise).

Yeah, I think a lot of people kinda feel that way about her. There's no denying that her characterization is quite different this time around.

Sindel's butchered character is a shining example of NRS not understanding their own characters. The whole point of Sindel's design was quite literally "never judge a book by its cover." She looked evil but deep down she was one of the most heroic and caring characters in the franchise. Having her made into some evil witch and stapling the "IT WAS ME AUSTIN" with Jerrod's death was the dumbest thing they could ever do.

Shao Kahn did nothing wrong

Well....

People hated Vogel in the 3D games era.... He had.limited resources yet his stuff was entertaining and he understood the material he had.

Now the new Italian guy who started at MKDC as co writer and took over and then the abysmal work by Kittlesen... Both don't understand the source material as they should.

John Vogel needs to come.back....or Vogel given back the writing part... Otherwise...

And shame on Bushy Eyebrows for letting these new writers get away with what they're doing. He probably only reads Scorpion's script and signs off on the other characters not giving a damn.

Actually Scorp/Subby, Cage and sometimes Raiden are very well done.... Then the rest pales so hard....

Raiden was a damn fool in MK9. He was okay in MKX, but going borderline in MK11 again.

I used to think he was the mentor, ya know because he's a god and all, and I looked up to that fact that he brought guidance. Now he's just as lost and confused as the mortals he's "mentoring." He has no purpose anymore. He's lost all his mystery. He may as well be mortal. The fact he went missing in MK3/UMK3 made it interesting.

But they added tons of human side to him, maybe they should.have never done that however I feel he ended up being a believable character.

Want a good story ? Tobias is actually part of WB now. Hire him back to do that.

He had a recent podkast with a fan... If you hear him and got through his insight you will understand that he's just miles better.

Actually, I would like to see her original story instead of being with Shao Kahn willingly but somehow it fitted her quite well imo and her evilish motives are pretty cool. She has distinctive gamestyle and motives which is why I adore her so much in the game and so gald to see her in MK11 since she wasnt in MkX and it really made me disapponted. No matter what people say they have developed the game pretty awesome ans Im proud of Netherrealm team. I got my fav in the game afterall :)

This is coming from a place of admiration for the MK11 Story overall; I agree that this particular character was completely ruined. This directly contradicts formerly established character traits that were hinted at starting with MK3 and pretty much confirmed in later games.

I'm absolutely fine with it, Kitana is so milk-toast and dull now, just like Liu Kang, whilst the hero group have grown and grown to be this perfect group of "super best friends" that I really like the idea that after all these years the woman they were trying to save, who had all these ties to fixing everything, had been a willing accomplice the whole time who history had rewritten into being a martyred saint. It's the perfect crime - got away with it AND cherished after death as a beloved icon.

Plus she's absolutely bloody gorgeous in human form with her long centre-parted hair, and needless to say, her natural endowments upstairs and from behind prove that Mortal Kombat hasn't quite lost its sexiness. She has a combo that ends with her ass in your face... what's not to love? She could kick my ass any day ;)

Plus I utterly adore her banshee - those vibrasonic screams, the demon spirit shrieking as a possessed soul for which she's the vessel... utterly love it visually and sonically. Want to know more about who the banshee is!

All hail the queen!
