oh ok, so that goes off regardless of the stage? That's lame. Something is off about MK.... the music, and the lack of stage fatalities makes the stages pretty dull.

It's no stage fatality, it's just Frost her fatality in the way it goes to a location, like with the Predator fatality in MKX.
I don't think there is anything off with MK. I see and hear a lot of modernized nostalgia.
That we still don't know of any stage fatality is concerning though. I really hope they didn't leave them out, you would think they would have learned their lesson from MKX that not including them isn't an option.
I think I did saw a stage brutality though, I'm not sure.
