If it were me, I would have avoided making forced political statements out of my more iconic characters, but they've already shown us their hand, so it was to be expected. Kinda silly to have a character who selflessly fought for the good and safety of Earthrealm since day one suddenly pursue relatively selfish motives so the developers can pat themselves on the back.

MK11 is a game that MK2 and 3 would've made fun of.

For me there is no problem. I'm not from USA and frankly - I couldn't care less about american social or political views. I understand of course that nowadays there is a discussion in USA about such topics but I just don't think that it's something vial for the majority of gamers outside of USA. Sorry.

Ehh, I don't like it but I can live with it. It just seems out of left field for Mortal Kombat, and it really seems to ignore a lot about both the lore and Jax as a character; to me it feels like all it cares about is "Jax is black" and "Jax wins the ability to time travel" and it lands on "a black guy would time travel to end slavery". Jax in MK has always been out to get Kano, protect his family, and seek safety and justice for his country and realm. All of those are in character and fit in with the MK lore. But I guess at least it makes some sense and I'm sure a lot of people will like it. Just isn't one of my favorites.

Jacqui's ending makes Jax's even worse, because she believes that her father would make the same choice she did, but instead he decides to be Black Panther.

If a white charcater wanted to prevent all the white people who got eaten by African cannibal tribes and would have changed the timeline so the African tribes didn't exist, it would have been an outrage.

Its not that there's no White People. Its that he undid the slave trade and colonization. So Europeans and Asians never landed in Africa and Africans never went to America. Hence Mr. "'Merica. Fuck Yeah!" [he had American flag armbands and he draped the flag over himself in his outros in previous games] was born and raised in Africa

I could understand there being a problem if it said Jax reversed history so whites were enslaved instead of blacks, but that's not what happened. Even though technically, to be all fair & even women should run society, and white folks should be enslaved for a few thousand years. However, this brings us back to the equality vs equity meme pic of people standing on boxes to see over a fence.

Typical history revision from a typical left winger or minority. Cannibalism is almost exclusively associated with Africans and Asians. It has been throughout history and still is today. And no, complaining about virtue signalling is not virtue signalling. I don't think you know what VS means.

No one here is attacking people for showing compassion and understanding the plight of others. Decent people are pointing out how anti-white SJW bigots are doing their normal thing of attacking whites and trying to make them out to be bad people over everyone else whilst ignoring all the far more horrible things other races have done.

Whites are the least slave-orientated people in history, far behind Africans and Asians. That is a documented fact of history.

No, YOU are pushing your own anti-white, history-revising SJW agenda on others and refusing to open your eyes and learn about things that don't fit your narrow-minded world beliefs.

That doesn't undo slavery. How does that undo the slavery of all those enslaved in sub Saharan Africa by fellow Africans? How does it end the suffering of slaves who died in Ancient Egypt building the pyramids? How does it end the slavery of all those slaves in the Muslim world? What about all those millions enslaved in various parts of Asia by their own kind throughout time?

It's racist because it portrays whites as inferior when they aren't at all.
