This looks like a good roster, actually.

You have your 3D era representation, majority of the player bare will get what they want, the Trilogy roster, and a bunch of new faces.

Every single one is happy.

I really dig this roster.

I would wait for the official disclosure before complaining or rejoice though.

Bo Rai Cho in again? Ugh. Why the hell are they doing injustice to amazing characters like Reiko, and Havik.

I think the roster is pretty good if true, again, my personal preference would be to drop all the special forces characters (Johnny, Sonya and the Kombat Kids all need to go) buuuut I understand their popularity.

My main gripe would be if they put Cyrax in the game and leave out Sektor again ala Deadly Alliance. I know Cyrax is more popular but that still sucks.

I just can't with these roster "leaks" anymore. The reveal is next week. Can't wait.

Also...needs more Havik.

I can work with it. We have the must haves(Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Liu Kang, Kitana, Sonya, Johnny), we have the fan favorites(Rain, Jade, Sindel, Ermac, Cyrax, Smoke, Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, Kung-Lao, Noob ect), we have the returning MKX newbies, we have fresh meat, and we actually have some decent 3D era representation. It's a pretty diverse roster. Is it perfect? No. But it's diverse and there are some curveballs that do at least have me interested(Goro? Again?)

The 3D era characters are good enough. Bo Rai Cho, Fujin, Frost, Kenshi, Daegon, and Li Mei(as DLC) is a decent line up. I'm a little irritated in no Sareena, but there's always a shot with a Kombat Pack 2. No Taven is weird but not a loss for me, Daegon is much more interesting and I think he'd probably have more going on plotwise in regards to Takeda/Kenshi, the Red Dragon, and perhaps the Special Forces then Taven would.

No D'Vorah is also weird. Even if she's DLC later down the line...it's still rather odd. Unless maybe Kronika or someone is using her body as a host- that would explain her absence.

I still preferred the other leaked roster mainly because it made so much more sense from a logical and story perspective, but I could live with this roster. Not perfect, but I wanted diversity and this definitely gives that. We'll see.

Though add Tanya and I'd be damn near satisfied.

That's actually a pretty good roster and would no doubt please the majority of the fanbase. We'll just have to wait and see

This is a list I'd dislike. Mostly due to no Baraka and D'Vorah. Baraka is just a fun character imo, and D'Vorah is easily my favorite newcomer from MKX.

Although I’m not a massive fan of D’Vorah gameplaywise I do love the lore behind her character so I agree that she should be back. Deffo replace Jacqui or Kun Jin with her.

I'm glad this isn't the real roster, as I can't imagine "Nimbus" being a character, let alone as DLC.

Maybe if you're twelve years old and like the idea of farting your opponent to death. I mean I guess he does appeal to the kids. For me he's just foul. MKX was enough, make room for some unrealized potential (i.e. Shujinko, Ashrah, Reiko, Taven, ...).

Well... i am missing Sektor and Baraka, but beside this the roster looks pretty good. Sindel, Ermac, Kenshi, Fujin, Smoke, Nightwolf... i would be glad to see them back. Cyrax would be awesome and i had high hopes for Shang Tsung. But i have my doupts because D'Vorah is missin and Sindel as a part of the roster? I jut can't imagine this.

In most cases i like kharacters with supernatural powers like Fujin, Raiden etc. Just something which makes them unique. This is the reason why i don't care about kharacters like Shujinko, Taven and Reiko. For guest kharacters i really hope for IT/Pennywise. I read the book when i was 14... and yes it has much influence on me because this book was the reason to read many books after it. And i like the new interpretation of IT. So... bring IT on :)

I am okay with that roster, but if I had it my way I would trim out some of the Trilogy characters; Rain, Sindel, Smoke, and maybe Goro (unless he actually has a reason for being there in the story unlike MKX). Instead I would include Ashrah and maybe Havik or Kira. I am okay with Jax being out because it was established that he is retired and I feel like he's one character who definitely earned his walk off into the sunset. I would be alright if Johnny Cage and Sonya did the same as well, despite them being some of my favorite and log-standing characters, because they have to commit to the time jump route and keep the new generation around.

I am okay with D'Vorah being out since she was defeated and apparently captured at the end of MKX. I am okay with Ferrah/Torr being out because I just think they were awful characters.

I think the new characters sound alright, but I do believe that those names are 100% placeholder if there is any validity to them at all. Mortal Kombat tends to have placeholder names for their characters. In Mortal Kombat X a character named Salazar leaked. Later on a character with an identical bio and description was revealed, except the name ended up being Erron Black.

I do actually agree that the bodily functions can get old quick, but there are other reasons why I like Bo: Namely the jolly, drunken master archetype. I also enjoy his rotund appearance/athletic fighting style. He's also one of the few characters in the series that is really just a pure, kind-hearted soul amid a sea of brooding anti-heroes.

I guess I just really enjoy unlikely heroes.

I've always been reluctant to trust roster "leaks". It's too easy to get carried away and be disappointed if they don't end up meeting the hype (look at the last direct, people were expecting like half a dozen or so new characters, and all major ones).

The kombat kids are wack. Replace jackie with kabal, replace takeda with D'vorah and replace Kung Jin with Baraka. Add Havik and reiko as DLC and the roster is near perfect.

Well, the leak that held the covert art and Rousey's involvement also held a roster, and this isn't it.
