I was disappointed that they didn't return in MKX as playable characters, particularly Stryker as I would have liked to see them put the same effort into his Revenant design as they did with Jax's.

So I think Stryker, Kabal, Nightwolf, Smoke, Sindel and Jade should return in the next game, and still be Revenants, with live alts like Kitana, Liu Kang and Kung Lao.
