Liu Kang could've whipped her ass! He would probably at least knock her out for Kitana's sake. Or he would probably kill her if there was no other option

I think Liu and Sindel would have had an epic fight, but some dumbass, a.k.a. Johnny, would have jumped in and been like "I wanna help!" and end up getting killed. And so Liu would end up being all guilty for personally letting his friend get killed.

I think I prefer how it actually went down to your idea. Sure, Johnny was still a whipping boy, but no worse than the other heroes for being owned by Sindel. And he survived.

Your idea makes him look even more incompetent than MK9's story mode did.

I don't think my idea would have made the scene better. I just think it is a plausible scenario if Liu Kang had been around. I'm actually quite pleased with how it happened actually, because Johnny is my favorite character. But it is still quite arrogant I have no doubts he would rush into a fight he didn't stand a chance at winning.

I think Liu would have kicked her ass! Seriously, he has defeated just about everyone, including Shao Kahn, who I think is more powerful than Sindel. Liu Kang is one tough (fortune) cookie that's for sure!

Liu Kang would have had a tough battle against her, but he would have defeated her, if he's strong enough to compete and defeat Shao Kahn, he can stand up to Sindel.

That's the reason why they had him leave with Raiden(Liu Kang wasn't needed to speak to the Elder Gods), but if he had been there, the massacre would not have happened...well at least not to more than one person

Of All the heroes to survive, Johnny Cage and Sonya strike me as the two biggest team players out of everyone, as much as I wished Stryker would have been one of the living, if anybody's going to be able to liberate their friends, it's the two people who collaborate as much as possible, Johnny in Armageddon, Sonya in MKDA with the OIA etc.

Would he keep her at bay for a while? Likely.

Would he defeat her? Huh, I wouldn't be so quick to say 'yes'. She did have the power to kill with a mere punch in the head, after all, and she would probably deliver at least one hard blow to Liu Kang, so I don't think Liu would get that lucky. And she wasn't fighting just anyone in the story, she fought Earthrealm's best warriors... and owned their asses in a fingersnap.

Liu would've died same as the others. I mean, we're talking the queen of Edenia, a very capable fighter on her own, infused with the power of Shang Tsung and his souls. Liu stood as good a chance as everyone else, if not just slightly better. If he were in there during the killing montage, he would've put out a quick one-two before being dispatched just like the rest.

^Uh... what about the whole, "I am Shao Kahn, conqueror of worlds!" thing?

Liu killed the conqueror, so... yeah. >.>

To be honest, I don't think Liu would've made a difference had he also confronted Sindel head-on like the rest; however, something tells me that he would've fought with her intelligently, and by that I mean have the characters fight against Sindel like a real team, and at the same time. There probably would've been a casualty or two, but their combined strength would've done a lot more than just everybody taking turns to be Sindel's punching bag.

What if Liu AND Raiden were there? I feel she wouldn't have stood a chance. Liu is the most powerful Earthrealm warrior, he won the Mortal Kombat tournament, and he defeated Shao Kahn; Raiden is very powerful (he should be, he's a god lol) and he also defeated Shao Kahn. I, personally, feel Liu Kang was more than capable of defeating Sindel on his own*, but if Raiden was there too, it would have been no problem.

honestly, i dont think one person would have made a difference.
in the old canon, where liu kang was the super awesome hero who defeated shang tsung, goro, kintaro, shao kahn twice...etc.

but now, everybody is a lot more powerful in comparison. cyber-sub defeated goro AND kintaro AT THE SAME TIME, kung lao also managed to defeat kintaro, and shang and quan chi simultaneously before that. liu kang really isnt that special anymore.

oh, and nothing liu kang could have done would have matched the pure awesomeness of Nightwolf
