He is gonna be in the game 4 sure. I wander how r they gonna bring him back. Maybe he died 4 real and the r gonna bring his younger self? Do you know something we don't know? What do you think happened with him in the soulnado and afterwards? What moves will he have? Black ice?

What moves will he have? Black ice?

Enhanced nuclear abilities that utilize oil (this idea may have come up before), or he could have mastery over a type of voodoo (nothing like Ashrah's voodoo doll).

Hopefully he keeps the same shadow-themed moves. Scorpion retained his moves when he got ripped through the soulnado (though he was brought back by the Elder Gods).

We never actually saw him die in MK9, just get sucked into a soulnado. So I think it would be fun if he were able to harness some of that soul power and actually produce multiple shadow clones of himself -- a small army of Saibots for combos, amplified moves and so on.

Maybe one of his variation options lets him tag out with a clone. The clone has a more limited moveset (maybe just hand-to-hand with no KBs or FBs) but allows Noob to avoid taking damage. Could have a timed duration before it dissolves, or take a certain amount of damage to destroy the clone.

Story-wise, I'd like to see Havik play into his arc as MK9 promises. Soulnados travel the void between realms, so it's possible that Noob escapes and happens to land in Chaosrealm -- a place where the mechanics of time already work a little strangely, which could potentially play a role in how the story goes in MK11. A newly enhanced Noob would have an interest in foiling Kronika's plans to restore the intended order of events, and Havik would have an interest in foiling any sort of intended order, so they'd make a pretty logical alliance (although neither of the two would call it an alliance, and Havik respects Noob's disposition to betray him should the moment serve his interests).

Multiple clones seem like a natural evolution of his powers from his last appearance, and this upgrade lends itself well to a new Chaotic angle to his character and even gameplay.

The guy got whipped half way across the Netherrealm. Nothing more and I refuse to give it anymore thought than that. Modern MK just aint worth the thought.

Dope post mate. I wander if NRS is caring and is in tune with the story like you are. I don't know why were they so silent with his whereabouts and still are. Maybe he is gonna be central to the story as you suggested, I mean he was a sub boss after all.

I'd love to see him using his ice powers alongside with his shadow skill tho. Why throwing away skills you developed so much and just replace them? Build on them ice skills with that shadow ones and become ULTIMATE CHAMPION OF MK!

My guess... is that he will be back by means of the apparent time bending theme through out the game.

My hope... is that he retains the shadow moves from mk9... with the enhancements to gameplay since mk9 I CANNOT wait to see what NRS has up their sleeves for Noob. He might just be my main in this game.

Here's a fun thought: Noob's exit from MK9 was actually very similar to Scorpion's MK5 ending.

Noob was hoisted into a "Soulnado" that Quan Chi was messing with, by Nightwolf. Scorpion, in his ending, was hoisted into something very similar (I forgot what it was called, but it had the same properties) by Drahmin and Moloch.

Now, it was revealed in MK6 that the "purity" of the Soulnado in most cases would rip a wraith to shreds (Scorpion and Noob are both wraiths). However Scorpion lucks out - he ends up in a void where he comes face to face with the elder Gods, and from that point on, swears his allegiance to the elder Gods (becoming their champion). Perhaps this is what happened to Noob? Imagine that - Noob Saibot, champion of the elder Gods!

I'd considered that, but at this point a lot of folks are tired of the same stories being played out with the "twist" that it happens to a different character.

Don't worry, time will lead to Saibot...

Some fans have theorized that Bi Han WAS supposed to be the MK champ if he wasn't killed by Scorpion. What if the soulnado does for Noob what it did for Scorpion, but the Elder Gods purify Noob or split him in 2, with the shadow taint, Saibot becoming a full individual being.

Maybe just an all white Noob Saibot (even shadow moves), but we kan already do that ourselves with the pallette options...

^ pallette options for noob... now that’s some shit right there. I wonder how NRS will tinker with that, hmmm.

Could be interesting, or super lame.

I originally thought that being kicked into a soulnado could result in him being made into a champion of the elder gods, similar to Scorpion in MK Deception. I though, like the above posts, that an all white version of Noob with some kind of holy glow coming off of him would be cool. I would leave his shadow all black; give him kind of a ying-yang theme and remind us that he still originated as a revenant from the netherrealm.

However I realized that the soulnado in Deception was a portal to the heavens, while the soulnado in MK9 was just Quan Chi and Shao Kahn trying to steal earth's souls. So chances are getting kicked in there actually just killed him, and didnt take him to the elder gods. But I would be happy if it was revealed that he did survive and was somewhat changed by the soulnado.

Why complicate things? Just let him be killed by the soulnado. After all, in life Bi Han was more of a bad guy anyway. I just don't see him working for the Elder Gods or caring about any mission they might give him. Don't tame Bi Han and turn him into his brother - it's what sets them apart and what makes Bi Han way more interesting to me (I don't care for Kuai Liang - I find him boring).

Noob has never been important to the main plot anyway. The closest he came was when he was hired to assassinate Shang Tsung... but that never lead to anything and got retconned out in the reboot.

I love Noob (he's my third fav after Scorp and Raiden), so I definitely want to see him return and retain his Brotherhood of Shadows abilities. I just hope they explore the character more this time around. Give him at least ONE scene with Scorpion (the true rivalry of the series). And give him more to do other than being Quan Chi's bitch. Speaking of which, I really hope Quan Chi doesn't return. It was great that Scorp finally got closure to that dragged out story arc. I hope they don't undo that, or they only bring him back for future Scorpion to kill him instantly.

^This. Most of this, lol. My favs are different but everything else, yeah. Quan Chi needs to stay dead for awhile, he had his time. Scorpion NEEDS to move on. Preferably with an alliance with Kuai Liang. Bi Han as Noob Saibot needs to come back and FINALLY replace the Sub-Scorp Rivalry with a Noob-Scorp one. Hell, with MK9 Scorpion actually showing some REMORSE for killing Bi Han (loved that, gave him more depth) have him agree to aid Kuai Liang in fighting to either redeem Bi Han or destroy him if it proves impossible. Raiden mentions the threat of chaos realm to him. Maybe the Noob-Havik connection. Yeah all wishfull thinking. I'm sure Scorp, Sub, and Noob (if in) will be VERY minor in this game like they usually are, lol.

People SERIOUSLY want Noob Saibot to turn into a goodguy? Like serious?

Please stop!

Noob Saibot should stay evil all the way, keep the shadow-based blackhole powers at all times (another ice-user? who would want that?) and become a ally of Havik, Kronika or any other evil.
