Much like how GTA V came with "Grand Theft Auto Online". Rockstar has even fully transitioned to the sole development of that persistent online world. Any single player DLC was put on hold indefinitely. Now what if NRS comes up with a similar idea for the future of MK? It would be a fully realized Konquest mode that would persistently update and evolve. Would MKO have to hand over their domain name? Haha just joking with that as it's a big What if.
