I wouldn’t worry. Both Derrick and Tyler are a bit shit at the game. I’d recommend watching Sonya overview vid trombone ketchup and Mustard to see how she plays. Only her Sonic Rings move return from older games. No Leg Toss, Kartwheel etc...

Yeah that is something I am going to miss. I did see a leg grab but totally different. I hope it is useable. I did not use leg grab much ik previous games. I did use kartwheel a lot so I am going to miss that. I did like seeing the flying kick and will use it.

But i am wondering is the garrote be a throw or a standard move? Will she have more moves we did not see already? I just miss some good sonya gameplay and explanation like they do with other characters

I know, a breakdown of Sonya would've been great! Haha ironic that she was one of the first reveals, and one of the most played on the Kasts, but we know less about her than, say, Kabal and Jade.

He shows all of her strings and specials, including custom moves; at least the ones that are in the current build. Dive kick is back, at least! Strings looking monstrous.

Lol they don’t talk about Ass Whoopin in that vid while Ketchup and Mustard didn’t talk about the Dive Kick in their breakdown. Looks like some things have been missed and there will be moves added or to be discovered. Also “Hey Boo!” ;)

I would jump up and down three times and slap a baby if there were still undiscovered moves for Sonya. I'd be thrilled to be surprised by something in the release concerning her, after analyzing all of these videos. Especially because I haven't been thoroughly wowed by her move set, not like with X (miss my garrote wire counters). But it does seem more likely that both parties just forgot something. Maybe we find out next week during the beta??
