Bring Back Shao Kahns laugh/taunt
I know its very simple but i was playin MK Trilogy and i was performing a combo with cyrax and u can hear Shao Kahn in the back ground laughing, and sayin various taunts, i thought that was kinda kool that he was instigating during fight

I think it would be better if he only did that at Kahn's Colosseum since he's already watching the battle and reacting to it.

They would ahve to bring back Steve Richie for me tot ake it seriously. Unless they can get an HD cut of the MK3 voices for him. I would welcome that with a smile.

Unless they get Steve Ritchie back to do all the announcing in the game, I don't want him in every match. It would just be inconsistent to have the regular announcer for everything, and then during fights have random Shao Kahn laughs and sayings.
I'd be fine with him saying his old MK2/MK3 things when fighting against him, or fighting in his arena as someone said.
If Steve Ritchie doesn't come back, the in-fight speech should still return. Just with Herman Sanchez's voice instead.

Oooor why don't they have whoever voices Shao Kahn do the announcing and in-fight speech? Because that's what it's supposed to be. In MK1, the voice of the announcer was Ed Boon doing an old man voice, because Shang Tsung was the tournament host. And the reason he didn't just say "fight" and "finish him", but also "excellent" when you do an uppercut and stuff like that is to enforce the idea that Shang was actually watching your fights and enjoying them, cheering on the brutality.
In MK2 and 3, and in Shaolin Monks, Kahn was the ref or main villain, so that's why it was his VA saying all that stuff now.
And in MK4 and Deadly Alliance, Herman Sanchez isn't just doing a random announcer voice, that same voice is also used for Quan Chi.
They've kept going back to Sanchez for every game since, even when someone else is voicing Quan or Quan's not the main baddie, out of laziness and a "we just like the sound of his voice" thing, but he really shouldn't be the announcer for a Kahn-era game. Besides, personally, I'm sick of him.
I was thinking if they had continues and were on the last continue or you were on like a 5game losing streak in the final round if you are on the receiving end of being in danger, instead of the ching sorta sound it makes Kahns taunt of "you're still trying to win?' came up

Because I don't have faith in the MK team when it comes to casting. Steve Ritchie is Shao Kahn. If they don't get Steve Ritchie, I really wouldn't want anyone but Sanchez as the announcer.

Yes, I know. And it's made sense in every game except maybe Deception. He's been doing it for 13 years - he's really "the voice of Mortal Kombat" now.
I'd rather hear him again than some actor trying to replicate the greatness that was Steve Ritchie as Shao Kahn.
I loveeeee this thread
I was going to post it yesterday but didn't have time to go online
YESSSSS for Excellent/Outstanding/Superb...plzzzzz bring Shao Khan's voice comments back while uppercutting someone during the fight or...they were so awesome, so MK trademark and spirit.
