Is it even possible for future DLC to be added to the Vita version?

It would be nice if they held off with an "Already made 2nd Pack of 4 more DLC characters" since they are "done with DLC", until the Vita players got their chance with the cameo of Tremor. I mean it even said Fatality under his movelist so why have that show and no fatality.
