If you go to www.thesixthaxis.com they have a full review of freddy krueger. The picture you clik on to go to the review is the freddy krueger shadow fatality wallpaper!
I was able to save the little pic to my ps3 hard drive, but maybe one of you guys can find the real one somewhere, i am not too internet savvy. I looked but could not find. If there is a way to post the crappy one i got or i can send it to som1 through the ps3 message let me know...
BTW the wallpaper looks awesome....Its got Kruger posing in front of the furnace from hell with the shadow burning inside. It takes place on the graveyard stage in front of the soulnado.

It's not the shadow wallpaper, it's the other promotional fatality wallpaper...but I didn't know that existed either wow

That pic is being used on 360 to promote freddy too.
I wouldn't know how to save it from there.
They should release it HQ tho cos its an awesome pic.

I'm sure they will release a wallpaper for him soon. On the official MK site, he has the slots that are still locked, as you can see. http://www.themortalkombat.com/freddy/ I'm sure they will unlock some of those slots soon.

I watched the movie the Freddy Krueger of MK9 is supposed to be from (the reboot) tonight. My gosh, it was horrible! Yet they were shameless enough to leave a silly cliffhanger in it. Fred Krueger's motives are plain irrational and while the film may have developed effects and modern standards in horror, it could never possibly live up to its predecessors. Not that I'm a big fan of them either, but I can see if one likes them though.
Trivia: I remember it was somewhere told in MK9 or its promotional works that Freddy Krueger would be a child molester. According to Fred in the film however, he's not. (Was only accused.) Unless he fouled (not hinted).

Yea, I would search for the wallpaper at least once a month. I don't know why Netherrealm decided not to release it on the MK website. I love the wallpaper though, it's gonna be my backround a good while. I wish they could of done more for console version of the game, why stop at a costume pack and 4 DLC characters?
