With this game being focused on gore, I doubt we'll see it; but if they are really unique and graphically advanced then some might be appreciated more than originally, as substitute for all the gore. Yet for those online that wouldn't want to see them, they should be banned from online matches and specifically sold extra as DLC packs.

Jade - a poll dance
Kabal - spins in a 3D circle like Flash did in MKvsDCU, but goes so fast that his aura becomes a film strip of Road Runner running from Coyote (lol, since this is MK maybe he can actually catch the Road Runner would be EPIC, if WB would allow that OMG people would talk about that for years)
Nightwolf - carves a totem pole; but the eyes light up with a light prayer
Cyrax - makes a big puddle of oil which plays as a swimming pool
Sektor - uses his flame thrower to make a quick dragon logo in air b4 in dissappears
Smoke - passes the opponent a water-bong (can do it with the M-rating)
Sindel - uses her hair to jump-rope
Sheeva - aerobic 4-armed workout
Baraka - walks upside-down on his blades balancing himself like stilts
Shang Tsung - morphs into Porky-Pig and says "Ebdebebe That's All Folks"
Kano - makes a basketball goal with himself
Jax - shoots off fireworks which make an Eagle picture in the sky from it's aftermath
Quan Chi - becomes a vantrilaquist with his skeleton puppet
Sonya Blade - she does a handstand and her pants rip and she's embarrased and blushes red in the face
Noob Saibot - Clone party
Ermac - both he and his opponent become gravity-less and bounce around slowly
Tremor - Sandstorm turns to a sand-colored merry-go-round
Rain - causes a mini rain cloud that in 3D quickly etch-i-sketches a MK dragon symbol on the ground that grows flowers into the form of the dragon symbol like the Niagara Falls famous floral clock

No, i dont care for friendships.. if your my friend and i beat you im still going to give you the fatality. And with brutality coming back i dont have a need for friendships. But if they do bring them back I think some of your ideas are good. I would like to see cyrax with his UMK3 friendship.. That always made me laugh.

What if instead of friendships they have friendly fatality. IN which the opponent would be finished in a rather humorous manner. For instance:

Raiden could grab his opponent and electrify him until their head turned red and then he would take cover and cover his ears right before the opponents head popped off like rocket. Then it would explode (like a firework) in the air all over the screen and Raiden could like shrug his shoulders and smirk.

Scorpion could play with fire and accidentally breathe fire onto the opponent.

Lui Kang could pretend to perform magic by covering himself with a sheet and then turning into a dragon. The screen could darken and then he could breathe fire. When the screen illuminated again only Lui Kang would remain and a pile of ashes. LUi Kang would then give a confused look and bow.

.......etc.

Never mind Kidd Thunder. How about Kid Chameleon, based on this?

As much as he looks like a mini Johnny Cage.
