well, for me if i remember right only selectable chars. have air throws. I think it was scorpion and kung lao. However they could add some.

It's probably just Scorpion, he had an air throw as a special move in MK2.

Hopefully, most characters have about two throws, some have a third or fourth, and then there's one or two grapplers with a handful of throws. I can see Jax, Sheeva, and maybe even Stryker as appropriate grapplers.
