Is there some reason that in every piece of gameplay footage we've seen so far we've seen:

1. Scorpion & Sub-Zero fighting in the Living Forest
2. Reptile & Sektor fighting in the Pit II
3. Mileena, Johnny Cage, Nightwolf, & Kung Lao fighting in the Dead Pool

Any clue? I'm don't play demos or a wide-range of video games, so maybe I'm out of the loop. But I cannot figure out why we can't see, for instance, Mileena fighting Scorpion in the Pit II?

I noticed it too, but I figured out pretty quick what the reason for that is.
We haven't seen any footage of actual visitors playing the game, probably because they weren't allowed to record inside the theater. All the demos we've seen are being played by the Midway guys while Hector or Ed narrates the moves that are being shown off. They probably used the same characters and stages each time because they had a routine rehearsed.

I believe its Shaun himmerick Talking to the viewers. Sounds liek him. In every video he literally sais the same thigns as the people do the same things.

Reptiles small then alrge forceball.
He talks about "opening up the frames"

They do two 1v1 battles, with 4 characters, and then a tag with the other 4 so nobody gets left out.

Who cares, I'd watch the same vids over and over anyway, so it doesn't bother me any
But yeah I did notice that too. The last vid I knew right away Reptile'd lose.

It's definitely Hector, just listen to any of the MKasts and you'll recognize the voice.

It's most likely just a routine they have worked out, and it works out well.
