Noob Saibot isn't a joke character. What the MK team is doing to Sub-Zero is pretty lame

since he is ther hes probably gonna turn into noob saibot later on becuz i doubt they would just leave noob out of the game. but then again with tobias being gone they may want noob out of the picture

No it isn't. They finally realised that it's enough of newbies wishes and ideas so they rather have chose the path back to the roots by staying faithfull to the veteran hardcore fans.

Why would they put the second Sub in the game when this new one takes place at the START of MK1 where the original badass sub is alive? People complain about the dumbest things..

[SUB, You've been told repeatedly by numerous people in many different topics that a huge number of us who prefer the younger Sub-Zero, consider Noob a serious character, and like that he was revealed to be the dead Older Sub, have been following the series just as long as you have or longer.

I'm gonna warn you one time not to start another one of these disruptive arguments where you call people newbies and suggest you're a more "hardcore" fan than everyone else is.

You can like whichever Sub-Zero you want WITHOUT insulting people or acting ignorant.

I swear...all your posts are made to insult others and end up just being a target painted on your back because of how ridiculous they are. Claiming that "all the newbies" love the younger Sub-Zero is straight ignorant. From MK2 and on it's always been the younger Sub who has been important and well liked. I find it extremely ironic that you use not only a picture of younger Sub-Zero as your avatar and signature, but it's also from MK:Deception...so for you to label people as "newbies" to the series is quite hilarious.

Way to be late to this revelation that it's the older Sub in the pics that we have seen, as that article was posted days ago. Nice job.

I didn't call anyone an ignorant. You will not find any of my post where i did so ever. And I'm not insulting people. There are some members here who started being MK fan from the earliest days and there are members who started it later. Many of them started it in MKDA era. Are they new fans. I think it is logical to say that they are. But is that an insult? I don't think so. I respect every MK fan as much as a brother of mine. the last thing I do is to insult. But having my own opinion and practising criticism is something that is natural and allowed as far as i know.

I have the picture of the younger Sub for a reason. I don't like him much less than the older one. Actually the younger Sub was also very cool in MK2-MK4. It started to become a little lame storywise only when Vogel turned him into a "knight on white horse".

And yes, you have said or implied that anyone who prefers the younger brother or likes Noob being the older brother, is a "newbie".

You CLAIM your guess that a lot of fans joined with MKDA is logical, but you have no proof that there's a connection between those fans and the popularity of the two brothers.

Sub-Zero has been the younger one since MK2. Since 1993. That's a fact.

Here's another fact. In MK2, he spares his opponent's lives. That's in the game, Scorpion sees him doing it and that's how he can tell the two brothers apart. The older was murderous, the younger was merciful. Mercy is the trait of a hero. Therefore, the Younger Sub WAS ALWAYS A HERO. TOBIAS wrote that, not Vogel.
Another fact is EVERYONE who posted in the two topics you made a week or two ago, who said they preferred Younger Sub and Noob, ALSO said that they'd been a fan since the original games.

There's no reason to take this interview as confirmation of anything. Considering that all of Hector's words are paraphrased leads me to believe the interviewer never recorded the conversation, and being that English is most likely NOT the interviewer's first language, that leaves even more room for ambiguity and misinterpretation.

Not directly saying it's false, but fan blog does not equal confirmation.

There are too many characters that are "Evil and Badass". My favourate is no different, but that has nothign to do with Sub-Zero.

Guess what, been a fan since MK1. And I preferr Younger Sub-Zero with no contest. Older should be Noob, thats how it was and Noob is an amazing character with ties to many people. He is/was also a plot device for Smoke and the younger Sub-Zero.

To claim that your opinion is bigger or better than anybody elses means nothing to this community. I literally have friends who JUST jumped on the MK wagon and are nothing but concentrated on completely wrapping themselves in the story and learning everything they can with no biased words or opinions towards fans of others.

Negative posts will not be taken lightly as we are bound to get hords of new users here on MKO with MK2011 coming over the horizon. We want to attract them with a great Forum area which is well balanced and everybodies opinions are parallel in acceptance and consideration. A "Newbie" coming in here and trying to learn and talk of their favourate version of Sub-Zero is far more welcome than somebody who puts others opinions down due to blinding biasism.

Anyway, Classic Sub was confirmed to be this Sub Zero in the EGM as well, however after reading several of your postings - It's very easy to come to the conclusion that you're obsessed and overjoyed about this revelation. I've also noticed that you put (Boon Tobias) every time you mention Noob. You don't need to do that - We know what it means. The character in itself, Noob - Is probably one of the best backstories/histories in the series - Why you would consider it a joke character because of his name shows that the joke is all on you, n00b. Of course, look at Sub-Zero's name, means cold. That could have been made a joke as well. Are you getting the point yet? Okay. Thanks for posting.

It DOESN'T mean he's a joke character. In fact, he's quite the opposite really. I think it's a JOKE that it's the older Sub-Zero, considering that the younger Sub-Zero has a better storyline. Noob is awesome and Classic Sub-Zero was forgotten till they revealed it's actually Noob.
