I'm kind of hoping they have modes like super street fighter 4.Some of the
best times I ever had playing a fighting game online.I know everyone one
will be like no sf sucks but thier online modes are real fun.For those who did'nt know what they were here they are Team Battle with up to 8 players, Replay Channel, which allows players to view and save replays from around the world, and Endless Battle, in which the winner plays against a rotating group of up to 8 players, and of couarse mk's own personal touches.

All I want is netcode that isn't a janky mess like MKDC. I've never seen hit detection glitches in a fighting game like MKDC online.

Team battle on SSF4 is not that good really. You can end up doing nothing the whole time bc people before could beat the whole team. The tag system in MK is all ready 100 times better then team battle. I would like to see the replay stuf and endless battle in the new MK tho.

Maybe they can do something like this

Ranked - random 1 vs 1

Ranked tag - random 2 vs 2, or with a friend.

Endless Kombat - 8 player lobby, works with tag as well.

Replay mode - watch replays

I think team battile would be better in a mk style of a game

How so? unless you make it so its 4 vs 4, as in one person guys down the next jumps in right away, no loading or HP back. Then not to many people are going to do a 4 vs 4 Team battle.

@cross187

that's exactly how i wish they did the team mode!
2v2, 3v3, 4v4.. Just like MK4's "arcade" 2v2 team mode (no hp gain, next guy jumps right in).. only this time.. with real players per character..

so it would go..
2v2 (best of 2 rounds)
3v3 (best of 3 rounds)
4v4 (best of 4 rounds)
[no ties allowed.. an additional round/s would follow till a team wins]

the reason for upping the # of rounds (per more players).. is so all players would get a chance to play..

say you do a 4v4 game (Red vs Blue)..

RED
P1. beck
P2. raider
P3. josh
P4. tiger

vs.

BLUE
P1. spankMe
P2. joemama
P3. hurtme
P4. painInthea**

[how the rounds work]

(this show's who starts which round)
Round 1 - P1. beck (vs) P1. spankMe
Round 2 - P2. raider (vs) P2. joemama
Round 3 - P3. josh (vs) P3. hurtme
Round 4 - P4. tiger (vs) P4. painInthea**

[say.. *beck* beats spankMe.. then joemama would jump in next, then the corresponding Player # would follow.. say.. round 2 joemama beat's raider.. then josh would jump right in next etc..]

this is how each round should be setup (player wise).. regardless.. if say.. the red team's player *beck* crushed the whole blue team by himself in round 1.. because if they end up doing the team mode, the traditional way.. (which I do not recommend them doing!!) .. it would be the best of 2 rounds, with P1's (beck & spankMe) from both teams, starting both rounds and possibly preventing players raider, josh, & tiger or vice versa.. joemama, hurtme, painInthea** from even getting a chance to play.. get it? (good!)

doing it this way, gives everyone a chance to play & start their own round with full health..

I'd much prefer that the teamplay mode be done in this manor.. than the current tag team (doa, mvc, etc..) way of doing it.. because it get's annoying very fast when your about to kill a guy and he jumps away from you out of the screen.. only for you to get hit and killed by his side kick.. get it? got it? good? ok..
