found it very surprising that Motaro is in so many parts of the cinematics in story mode. I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning on having him as a boss. I mean if you saw any other past MK character in the story that wasn't playable, I would of thought maybe they just decided to have him in the story. However, since he is the only unplayable character from the past MK's in the story, i think it's pretty obvious they did have plans for him in it.

Why would they plan on making him a boss when they already knew they wouldn't be able to program him correctly? Sorry, but Motaro never had a chance.

Coming from a Motaro fan - I WISH.

Guy has no chance, and I actually love his Character Model too! Looks great!

Would love to see it happen but it just wont :( Get over it. I'm trying to!

I'm glad he was at least a very small portion of Story mode anyway, better than nothing eh!

death was epic. He got electricuted and then thunder dove through a damn bridge for goodness sake by Raiden, the proper send off death I thought.


He had a very nice design as well.

I still think he's an extra hard to get to SU already in this game; it's 2D there's no excuse for his absense. He's got a model like everyone else does and just like the morphing of Shang Tsung made possible; 2 legs/4 legs/10 legs either way if they wanted the freakin Tormentor as a playable character they COULD do it. I'm almost sure there's also ways to keep hackers from finding it all or at least to slow them down so I believe there's still more to find in this game; or maybe there will be a time-release/free HIDDEN DLC along with what you do purchase: say you buy Kenshi/Skarlet but they don't tell you that you now have access to/can fight Motaro by a code already tried by hackers that originally wasn't there.

Yet, he was a VERY skeptical character based on how they "ruined" his whole Centaur being and made into another creature pretty much. They do read the boards and want to please the fans. Well now his model in the game is being praised so they now know it's pleasable and may add him in now if he's not in it hidden well/hard.

Yet if I made the game and had to choose from one of the 4 regular bosses on which to be DLC or hide really well, Motaro would be that one pick no questions asked I mean his design is amazing and he's supposed to be the strongest out of him/Goro/Kintaro.

Anyway, I do like Motaro's redesign (a little better than Kintaro's, sadly), I love how he didn't go down without a fight (even thoug he got blindsided by Raiden), and I love how they reestablished Johnny Cage's death as canon (take THAT Vogel!). I always thought that was the best bit of characterization for Cage (not the death, but the revival afterward; the fact that he continued to fight back after his death and begged Raiden to revive him so he could fight alongside him in MK4; to me, that showed that he knows where his priorities lie, underneath that jerkass exterior). However, I doubt he'll be playable, not unless evidence is found that he has his own moves and/or the same internal modeling and damage that the other characters do.
