Well just got back from vacation and hit a plethora of new MK media from E3. First off I just wanna say WOW! wow I am extremely pleased with the way the game is looking, no question!!

I am so happy the game is back to it's 2D roots. The graphics are amazing, and yes the internal body design for the characters look incredible. That is what I've wanted in MK for years, and now we finally have the technology and support we needed.

The fatality's are very essential to MK and this game is bringing back to me the wow / shock factor from MK1 and 2. Scorpion's fatality that was shown during the gamespot demonstration is super f****g cool! total bad f*****g ass!

Kung Lao's is very bloody and OMG does it look crazy lol. I am in love and left in awe. I can not wait till Spring '11. The game is already a 10/10 in my book.

Scorpions is pretty sweet. Especially when he holds his sword up for the crowd.

But I liked Mileenas fatality on Kung Lao! Lao looked so beat up and exhausted when he turned his head and looked at Mileena. It made the fatality that much better for me. Kung knew it was coming.

what would be cool is cage doin the van damne roundhouse(complete with multiple angle replays)to kick your head off instead of an uppercut, the kick a hole in your chest like his snes fatality

Has anyone else noticed in Mileena's fatality that she doesn't rip her opponents complete head off, but only the top half. The lower jaw is still connected to the body. Nice grin

While certainly violent, I'm surprised that Scorpion's just utilize swords. I expected something involving spears, his "Toasty", or even something with hellfire and brimstone.

Well he could do the toasty, then with his spear throw his opponet to the cambra.

anyway i am sure his toasty is going to be his 2nd fatality, but how they would execute it i don't know.

As I mentioned in another post, I'm hoping with all of the "gore breakthroughs" they've had so far that they can create something especially gruesome for setting someone on fire. We've always had one extreme or the other in the MK games:

Outcome 1: Immediately burn to fiery bones

Outcome 2: Run around on fire, but nothing actually burns up

They have to have some "trick" to create an actual burning look. I am quite curious...

loved Mileena's fatality.
im probably a little biased but it was still great!

im really happy that they used to swords for Scorpions fatality. Im sure they will bring in some fire or something for later. Between Mileena, Scorpion and Kung Luo (howeveer you spell it)... im already going crazy for this game! :D

you dont like scorpions fatality because he uses swords? last I checked, he was a ninja. that fataility is one of the best I have seen in a mortal kombat game, who better to own it than scorpion. The toasty fatality has be done, redone, and redone again. Time for something new.

So far Mileena's fatality is my favorite, I like her "Mmmmm..." and her touching herself sensually at the end. Even if she looks like MK's major slut, I still like that part.
