This really did help me/my errors with mortal kombat 9 online. this is easy to follow, trust me, im 15 years old and it couldnt get any simpler than this.
as of now, i noticed that i havent had no '' game session has ended '' pop ups and it is allllllmost completly lag free in 1vs1 and tag, i havent tried koth with this setup though.

i hope this will help you and sorry for no hyperlink.

While all of that is still alien to me, I think this is an interesting and very helpful thread if it does indeed do what it says it does. Thanks for the link!

Can anyone confirm?

YES OPENING YOUR NAT DOES HELP. I POSTED THIS INFO 3 DAYS AGO AND NOBODY LISTENED. IT WILL SOLVE ALMOST ALL THE DAMN CONNECTION PROBLEMS.

Im yelling because I bumped that thread about 3 times, and I have to listen to people bitch at NRS, when the problem is on their end.

YOU NEED TO OPEN NAT and upnp. Otherwise it doesnt matter what the damn netcode is, a close Nat literally cuts off communication with the gaming servers. This applies to the XBOX as well. FUCK PPL!furiousfurious

You can open your NAT and upnp threw your computer, the game is irrelevant.

I didnt read the article, I just know that its about opening nats. You open upnp in diferent ways depending on your router type. So google your router type and upnp youll find directions.

Yes he is right, but i dont have a router that can do/have UPnP whatever. Manually enter your settings as well( IE; DNS servers and gatway. ) subnet mass stays the same, for all users.

Question,

I never have issues with online games, with all FPS games my NAT is open and on beat 'em ups like SFIV and SCIV I never experienced lag like I did on MK. When I do a connection test my NAT type is 2, should I still bother doing this? I spoke to a guy yesterday who has his PS3 in a DMZ and he still experiences lag.
