I'm pretty sure these are BIOS but also the ENDINGS will be like this also. I was really skeptick about how this was going to come along when it was rumored a while back. But seems to me these look BadA**. Can't wait to see more Bios. Ed Boon and the team are doing a great job on the game.

No more overused render + text that honestly was pretty boring.

Now it's dynamic, engaging and dark.

Imagine every character with a Bio like this... plus an Ending in the same type. Wow.

The look is awesome.

My only problem with that short video is that... acording to it, Scorpion kill's Sub-Zero. In front of ShangTsung. In the Throne Room. You know, it's to precise... it gives away an outcome that might not even happen in the game. Unless this clip is a mix of both Scorpion Bion and Ending.

Otherwise.... I'm crying of joy now. Just thinking about the rest of the game... and the 6 months left before it were they'll take the time to do it right!

There was this badass deamon who decived scorpion. Hes all white with blood writing on him... but you suckers are just gonna have to wait another 3 or 4 years to see him.

I think its safe to say quan chi is in. He has so much to do with many charactes stories, and this is gonna be a proper retelling(errr. sorta). They aleady made a character model for him in mk vs dc. I had a third point but i forgot it ahahaha.

My money is that quan chi is in (and mabye sareena)

Figured that out also, that they wouldn't give us an ending. I was just comparing it to the info we got for endings and that we now had an example.

Looks cool, but I hope they spend more time on the endings. That bio movie looked a bit rushed. Some parts were cool and some (small) parts looked like they just wanted to get over with it.
But nonetheless, a good approach for the endings.

So even if we assume numbers 27 thru 32 are all either not in MK9 or are non-playable or hidden unlockables, there's STILL no room for Quan Chi on the initial playable roster of 26 without cutting someone out.
There is the issue of number 17 there, the question of whether or not Noob will be in the game. But I don't think any speculation on how they're going to handle the Sub-Zeroes will ever go anywhere until the game is actually out and we and know for certain. It's just too up in the air at this point.

I believe they're trying to excape. I dont think they actually will. What i'm hoping for is Scorpion watches Subby kill them this time around then is killed by Subs right after.

I know that would drive me insane if that happened to me. Watch my family die in front of me then i'm not strong enough at the moment to avenge them, and soon after i'm killed before i can get my revenge.

Dramatic though that may sound, it wouldn't fit the canon at all. Sub-Zero isn't even really the one who did it, after all. That's just what Scorp was TOLD happened, to trick him into doing Quan's bidding.

This 26 characters thing lol... Its not like this has been written in stone or anything. It could change at any time. Im thinking there could be 26 (that we will know about) still a secret 6 after that maby who knows

Actually, Hand Lo let it slip (or said it intentionally) in one of his interviews where he was asked how many characters they had already done. He said they had done about 28 of them. Seems unlikely that the extra 2 are DLC at this stage of development. If 28 is the initial amount of characters, it opens some possibilities.
