Well, this has been on my mind for quite sometime. Since this is a re-boot but not following any storylines or events from previous games. Aside from timeline. Is it safe to say, Sektor again posses the Dragon Medallion Sub-Zero once held before?

And if so do you think they will change the events of him losing it to Sub-Zero? Maybe even changing the fact that Frost will Join the Lin Kuei out of greed? It's safe to say, Sektor is as Sinister as Scorpion when it comes to Fighting. Do you think these two will or should cross paths? Sektor most defiantly has not been used to his Full Potential.

If him and scorpion did cross paths, for whatever reason. Who out of the two do you believe would dominate in the fight?

I think these two should have it out. The whole Sub-Zero and scorpion thing is classic. But how would you honestly feel about the rivalry above?

Do you think Cyrax will be involved with Sektor in anyway? And if so how. I think it's safe to say that if Cyrax has not been reprogrammed by OWIA, will he be used for Sektor's baiting purposes? I.E. Noob-Smoke.

I am fighting the urge to post soemthing huge. Id rather see what the community thinks. haha.

In a nutshell. I feel his path will remain somewhat on the same path but his ambitions will come in more ruthless and faster than before. I hope to get a glimpse of him as a human aswell. I doubt he will ge tthe Medallion.

If he fought Scorpion, Just immagining the fight, I would pick Scorpion as the slim and I mean SLIM winner. It just wouldnt seem believable for Sektor to defeat him.

I think Sektor could take him. Granted Scorpion gets stronger in the Netherealm. Sektor has the ability to cloak. Some of which would confuse scorpion in the beginning. It defiantly would be close. But I doubt scorpion would be able to pierce his armor with only a sword. And if he did it would take a hell of a lot of swings. As for killing Scorpion, Impossible. Defeating him in Kombat. My hats off to Sektor.

Wait, what? Sektor never had the medallion. He killed the grandmaster and tried to take it, but Sub-Zero fought him for it, so Sektor never actually had it.

I know. That's why I'm saying do you think Sektor will posses it. Mainly take it. I know he never actually had it. But since we so far. Have not seen Younger Sub-Zero, & Classic sub remains. Do you think he will get greedy sooner and attempt to take it? I mean with Shinnok manipulating Classic Sub-Zero to regain the Amulet. While these events are taking place, if Sektor acted on the whole Medallion thing during these events do you think he would have a chance? Unless, the Mytho Sub-Zero is avoided entirely. These are just Theories I'm having and speaking out loud. I know Raiden is suppose to prevent future occurrences. But with Shinnok being a fallen elder god & having a guilty pleasure alliance with Quan Chi. This doesn't mean everything that suppose to change will work out for the better. My opinion's of course.

If you are confused by this don't be. I'm not saying all of the above will occur in this game. But since we will not see duplicate storylines in future games most likely. But IF, they decide to keep Key portions from past games. Is it safe to say that some of what I mentioned will gradually evolve through the games? I know most of it is far fetched but Theories and Hopes are what I'm going for here.

I always figured it would be in his posession for at least a few seconds/minutes, but without the time to use/harness its strength, he was beaten and it was taken form him.

How can he kill the Grandmaster, and not end up with it in the seconds following the GM's death? if subby was there he woulda stopped it from happening. Im betting he did actually have it.

Well the thing is that the amulet amplifies a person's powers. Except as a robot, Sektor doesn't actually HAVE "powers", he has devices. Would they have been powered by the amulet, or would it have done anything for him at all?

And if so, would he have been able to control the boost like Sub-Zero did, or lost control and harmed himself like Frost?

And if he did gain a boost AND he could control it, then why did he lose the fight with Sub-Zero?

It's just simpler to imagine that Sub-Zero stopped him right after he killed the grandmaster but before he took the amulet off the dude's body.

I agree with Casselman on this. During this game, I feel we'll see Sektor as a human (not playable, but more as an intro) being turned into a cyborg, being fuelled by an ambition for power. He chases Sub-Zero and Smoke (both of whom I believe will escape automation this time around), and maybe manages to kill Smoke, really pushing his feud with Sub-Zero further.

If they make a sequel to this game, then I think it is entirely possible that Sektor will possess the Medallion. Come to think of it, as unlikely as new characters are, I'd rather see them give a spot as a playable character to the Lin Kuei Grand Master than Chameleon.

Apparently Sektor is Asian, that is something I find interesting for some reason. I always figured he'd be black like Cyrax.

I'm sure that it's something involving Cyrax.

It's very rare to have one without the other.
