I've always thought Skarlet should be Shao Kahn's daughter, but with Sindel before her suicide.

I beleive it's cus Kahn was originally the "raiden" of outworld, therefor he is unable to reproduce. this is just my theory

I actually like this idea a lot! Maybe we didn't hear about an heir to his thrown because they went into hiding out of fear of their father killing them to protect his thrown and his power. But this could eventually lead to a new boss character eventually. That would have to be after the baddies from the Netherrealm are dealt with...

I think it would make for a great EVOLUTION (key word) of the story and let Kahn go and BE dead.

I love LOVE LOVE this games Story it is the ONE thing that has made me fall in love with it. BUT it needs to be cleaned up.

So yes please just make Reiko THINK he is Shao Kahn and end up being his son.....that would be way cooler........and the story would make sense...........can Shao Kahn come back SURE but for now,,,,lets string the story together.......lets have the Story Mode of this game be cannon and then we can work on the future games and SOME (not all) people being resurrected..

I always thought something more had to be done with the whole REIKO = SHAO KAHN ZOMG rumor. The ghostly skull helmet that appeared over Reiko's face during his shoulder charge in MKA was cute,but I was hoping for something more. Reiko is boring as fuck as it stands,so pretty much any changes to his story would be for the better.

Shao Kahn is the ruler supreme of Outworld. He has ruled over it for millenia,and the way he sees it,he'll keep ruling over it until the end of time. The last thing he needs is someone of his own blood to lay claim to his throne.

Since Shao Kahn isn't human or any other existing race/creature that's seen before in MK. He probably can't have children with human's or other creatures from the MK universe.

Besides.... If you ask me they should keep Kahn this way. Mysterious and powerful. To me Kahn is a monsterous creature that doesn't give a crap about anything but himself. Love and stuff like that are a weakness to him. The only way he took Sindel as his wife was for strategic reasons. He keeps Kitana around for the same reason. If Mileena would doublecross him he would finish her off like it's nothing. His decisions in storymode showed us as much.
Changing him and giving him a family and a home and dogs and cats and and a BFF makes him less dangerous and less mysterious.

They tried to give him family-ties in Mortal Kombat Annihilation... It didn't work.

About the rumor of Skarlett being Scorpion's wife. I think it's a rumor from back when she was just a rumored paletswap in the old-skool MK's. I don't think that's gonna be her story in the game. But time will tell.
