What he said...I really wanna see her return and she better otherwise wth was the point of creating her if she's only gonna appear in one game I'm already in love with the girl and her game play so I would love to see her again for mk 10 :D

Skarlet is pretty much is one of the few post MK3 characters I'm interested in and I really hope she makes an appearence in MK10.

She's got too much going on for her to not be in the next game. A gore obsessed psychotic blood thirsty assassin who wears skimpy clothing and bathes in people's blood?? She totally fits in Mortal Kombat.

I can see with Khan being out of the equation she could be left in flux, since she technically only answers to him, unless Quan Chi controls her again. But she doesn't seem like the type of character who can act of her own free will and I fear she's always going to be a "servant" character. I'd like to see her in the next game but only if she has a story in the next game that explans why she's there despite her abscence from Shao Kahn.

I agree, I hope she is in the new game as well because she actually seems like she has the potential to have a good story and not suck like some of the newer fighters.

I also wonder what her arcade ending will be

will it be a "what if" ending or will it tell some sort of a cannon story?

well her ending's been leaked on youtube, so you can find out there if you want...but if you say anything about it here, please put it in spoilers. I'm waiting to take her through arcade mode to see it the first time myself.

On a serious note, just for the sake that the most characters have disappeared as soon as they've appeared, I hope to see her again. Other than that, she doesn't seem that special to me but we'll see in time.

Well, to be honest, I'm really not that interested in Skarlet. I don't know, I honestly thought I would be, but, she just isn't capturing my attention.

I don't want her to disappear, however, I prefer the return of Ashrah, Nitara, Li Mei, Havik, Hotaru, and all those other MKDA and MKD new characters over her.I feel like they deserve another shot much more than she does.

I might grow to love Skarlet, but, for now, I only appreciate her red hair and her tentacles fatality.

Skarlet is canon material ....... her origin was done before MK 1, because , you see her in the MK 1 part of MK 2011 Story Mode, so, she was there, in surveillance mission, paying attention in Quan Chi ......

She'll be in the next MK (MK10), that's for sure. Ed Boon seems that likes her, and, could be pointless if NRS created the character for the very first time, for, not include the same in the next game ....

Besides, Skarlet is a survivor of MK 2011 Story Mode, and, next game is the perfect chance for her to evolve and improve as MK character

I want to see her in MK10. She looks to be an amazing addition to this game, and it would be a waste to make her and then toss her aside in MK10.

I could see her seeking out Quan Chi on her own to get revenge for her master.

Or siding with Earthrealm to get to Quan Chi.

Either way...I wonder what will happen if she runs into Scorpion.

Skarlet doesnt interest me either. I was never really excited about her anyway. They could have came up with a better premier DLC character.

Back to Skarlet, there doesnt seem to be much for her to do storywise. Shao Khan's slave who spies to Quan Chi and then what?

She also definitely does not deserve the mask.

She's basically a female Ermac...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Ermac was one of Kahn's most powerful weapons. We all know he's probably going to end up with Earthrealm (if he hasn't defected already). It only makes sense that Kahn would have another warrior as backup. And if she's out for revenge for her fallen master, some people are definitely screwed.

I think Baraka, Reptile, and Mileena should be going their own ways soon. Especially Baraka, he's done nothing interesting in the 18 years he's been around other than kiss every boss character's ass. He's badass and I can see him rising up against Kahn or other future villains and becoming the leader of his people.

With those three coming into their own and Ermac playing "good guy", this can leave Skarlet as the sole minion. She can spend the bulk of the next few games going after those who are against the Emperor, hunting them down, or if Kahn is still dead in MK10 then she could try to resurrect him while also dealing with the struggles of trying to keep Outworld "Kahn's world" while also protecting it from invaders(other boss characters) looking to take over.

As Kahn's HBIC, there's a TON of stuff for Skarlet to get up too. And I think this would be the first time we've had a truly dedicated minion to Kahn. Normally after he dies or loses power the others go running off to find new "masters". Not Skar-Skar baby.

I want a new character that has the powers of urine. He/she could be the husband/wife of Skarlet/Red Whore and could sustain energy by being tinkled on. They could wear dark yellow and wear a mask. Using ninja assets, like kunai and such. They could work for Shao Kahn as one of his most powerful warriors. This new character = rollin in DLK dough.

They are both crazy young women with a dead daddy.I really believe we will see a Outworld civil war in mk10. Queen Mileena with the shokans vs. Baraka and the rest of the military/bodyguards (reptile,reiko,ermac.well ermac if he doesnt go good from his arcade ending.)
