Same thing keeps happening to me its soo annoying i cant fix it

That happens when either your opponent disconnects, or your internet drops.

Im pretty sure its just lag or nat type. This happened ALOT when i was trying to play with a friend that lives in new zeland lol

They dont disconnect because where only on the select screen and it happens all the time and im on nat type 2 and ive been through all tutorials online and cant change it to open

then its lag cause my friend lagged out a bunch in the KOTH lobby

So does that mean that it will be fixed with the new patch?

dont know wtf it is but they have to fix it soon! it is soooo annoying!! the longest it has lasted without telling me it is no longer available, was 6 matches in king of the hill i can never compete the achievement becoz of this sh*t!!!
and even when i challange players that have full connection (i have full connection as well) it happens a lot......bs

yeah me 2, its frustrating annoying. this better gets fixed bc i bought this game for on-line and not to beat retarded AI.....

also, every time i challenge an opponent its says "unavailable"

I think its the NAT type. The same crap happens on MK2 online but in MK2, you can restart the game and fix it.

I love both of those MK games and sometimes i spend 45 mins trying to connect in MK online.... wtf. I have one of the fastest connections in the world so I know its not me, its the game. I think its cause I play on router. If you wire from your modem to PS3, you will have the other NAT type. (I think its NAT type 1) and maybe you will never d/c I think.

They need to fix this. Also no matter what NAT type I have or whatever, I can NEVER enter a king of the hill match ever. They need to patch this ASAP because the game is nearly unplayable cause its ALMOST impossible to connect to a match.

However, when I do finally connect to a match.... I had zero problems with lag unless the person d/ced (after hours of playing with that person, maybe his power went out lol)

I posted a thread about how to open the NAT but nobody cared :(
