From way back, a 3DO game called Way of the Warrior had White Zombie soundtrack. It would work with this game for sure, at least I think so.
The songs that were made for Mortal Kombat in the past were good too use.

The 36 chamber in general is a great album for mk (all the martail art samples, and some of the songs like chessboxin sound very martail arts esq) actually id go as far as saying anything produced by RZA in the 90s

If you want some elctronic or dub, check out skirllex. He does reptiles theme (the song in the commercial) and hes has some seriously sick shit. I prefer listening to insrtrumental or elctroninc music when playing games because lyrics can get distracting. Also prodigy, they have a rock edge to them and there very fast, good for fighting.


As far as heavy stuff, lol nobody likes the same stuff anymore but id suggest NIN just because they have that indidustiral elctronic metal vivbe, that really suits video games. Hes got an intrumental album callled ghosts that fits great with games imo (not as heavy as early stuff)

I wont suggest any straight up metal because that always starts an argument on this site (just remeber metal core is not cool, it is the new boyband) Some people like mainstream metal on games like this, Atreyu, Distrubed, avengesevenfold. IMO it dosent fit. If i were to make one metal/punk suggestion it would be GALLOWS. (From the uk, to legit to quit)
ahh also refused, are great. Wayyyy ahead of their time and was a major infunce on punk and hardcore and jazz like that.

Noone does organ beats like the uk, where it is type of music played in many nightclubs. Even the church uses organs.

So i want these kind of beats to be in Mk x. Give them all a little listen. They are catchy beats. Street fighter has some catchy beats. Mk needs more catchy beats and not dull (which it currently has).
