Where are Kira and Li Mei?

Skarlet and Kitana's alternate costume have also been seen tied up in the background of Kahn's Arena, as well as Tanya. In E3 trailer, Kira's alternate costume from MKD and MKA and Li Mei were tied up in the chains in Kahn's Arena. Kira was replaced by Skarlet. Now they aren't chained up in the background anymore. Where are they? Were they removed from chains up? If Skarlet appears to be in Kahn's Coliseum, who is going to replaced by her?

I know. But have they removed from the chains up in Kahn's Coliseum? I'd be curious as to know whether the NRS had them removed from the chains up in Kahn's Coliseum or not.

I haven't seen them yet. I figured they were just for trailers and gameplay videos. Ya know, place holders.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kira eventually (I'd settle for the next game) but Li Mei has never struck me as any kind of useful to the story as a whole. I didn't even like seeing Tanya chained up there because I always hated that character since it was like she only got evil because Liu Kang wouldn't screw her.
