Will story mode be linear?
I heard it's supposed to be deep and some things might be changed.

However, I'm curious. Are the changes supposed to be linear? Or can the player choose what to change and what not to change as the story goes?

This would be interesting but I don't know if that's been confirmed just yet.

It would be kinda cool if losing some key certain fights changes the story as if the character won or lost. But I think things like that would be too much trouble. I'll be happy with linear as long as it's not some Konquest mode from one character's perspective. Just do it MK vs. DC style, and I couldn't be happier.

I think it'll be linear. The Mk team wants to staraighten out the story which is one reason they are going back in the story. But I hope its free roaming. Maybe a lil like Konquest in Deception but with set tasks and such from Armageddon with cut scene like MK vs DC. MK vs DC Konquest was to easy and there wasn't enough in it as far as replay value. And I don't mind looking 4 secrets in certain spots but some of the secrets in Deception were annoying to find cus you had to be there at the precise time. But anyway a mixture of the three Konquests would b cool to me. :)

If the story's going to be canon, it might as well be linear. I'm not really interested in waiting till the next game to find out which scenario (if any) was genuine.
