Comic chapter #16 discussion *spoilers*
So, what are your guys' thoughts on the new chapter? I thought it was okay, it was nice seeing Bo' again, and he's in a different costume than he was in MKX's story mode which is kind of interesting. I'm kind of excited about Reiko vs Jax next chapter, that should be fun.

I don't think that'll happen next issue. We still have to get him to a point that would warrant the Reiko Accords.

Damn, I forgot about those.

Why couldn't this ending have happened?

The Quan Chi part was basically what I though more or less that would happen since MK9 end. It was funny though that Jax was holding him but apparently his arms had just the right amount of hardware for Quan Chi to be OK with them lol.

I'm guessing he do that for Jax or Kabal because they had free will he could suppress. The Cyborgs have a slaving protocol that could have kicked in at any time and have Sub-Zero turn on him.

Yeah probably that's the most logical explanation. Also, Sub-Zero don't need the cyborg implants to be useful (he is arguably more powerful without them) while Jax and Kabal need theirs to compete with all the crazy freaks.

The explanation for Sub-Zero reverting back to human is acceptable. Now if they could just get back to the good part of the comic with Kotal Kahn vs. Shokans, that'd be great.
Also, seeing Reiko on a farm is just weird to me.

He should help Jax with plowing a field. That wold be a good start toward cooperation and foundation of Reiko accords.

Seeing a virtual exact copy of his Armageddon render Dutch-tilted and looking like it was just superimposed into the last panel was even weirder.

I got to thinking today...
In a perfect world, we're all hoping that when MKX gets its first Chaosrealm invasion... Havik will have a surprise fightable appearance as the boss (seems unlikely, but not impossible)...
So I thought to myself, "But who would be the assassin? Would he be both? That would be lame... but there are no other Chaosrealmers... so who are his allies? OH! What about Reiko!?"
And in a perfect world, Reiko will flee to Chaosrealm with him, escaping death... and that would happen.
But it probably won't.
I suppose if they wanted to recreate some old canon, Kabal could be a Chaosrealm assassin, but that would be kinda lame and stupid. Since I think most people prefer him a good guy (when not a revenent, obviously).
