well ive been pissed that we didnt get Sektor in MKDA or MKD. so he better be in MK7. he was ment to be in MKDA but they didnt have time to put him in there. either that or they decided to put Cyrax in instead. so since he was suppose to be in MKDA but didnt make it i expected him to be in MKD. i believe they were going to put him in there but then took him out and put Smoke in after they tthought of the 2 chars in 1 idea and created Noob-Smoke. so shall Sektor get screwed out of being in the game a 3rd time in a row? i hope not. right now is a good time for him to return. then again so was MKDA and MKD. ill be dissapointed if Sektor isnt in MK7. but Sektor is on high demand to return so i think he will.

as for Cyrax and Smoke... well its hard to say if Smoke will be in MK7 or not. i imagine he will be tho along with Noob Saibot. cuz i see them and Sektor teaming up.

Cyrax to return? thats really hard to speculate. we dont even know where Nitara sent him. would be interesting if Nitara sent him to the neatherrealm and he could run into Nightwolf there. after all we do see Nitara and Cyrax in the neatherrealm in Konquest in MKD for some reason..... i never thought about it till now but perhaps that is the MK team hinting to us that Nitara did indeed send Cyrax to the Neatherrealm? and well if that would be the case and Cyrax would run into Nightwolf down there then perhaps thats how Cyrax would get outta there as well. id guess Nightwolf would know a way to get out of the Neatherrealm. i doubt he would go there without knowlege of how to get out. seems like a way for both Cyrax and Nightwolf to be in MK7.

so i think they all got a chance of being in MK7. id say...

Sektor - 90% chance to return.
Smoke - 90% chance to return.
Cyrax - 50% chance to return.

Uhh, think it's fact that Cyrax is back on earth.

And don't expect Noob Saibot to team up with Sektor. Check the foes/al-lies list with each character. Not to mention the fact that they are worlds apart.

P.S: might want to double check on that lst one. There already has been a debate over a Sektor+Noob team up here, dunno about the debate itself, but there was something certainly interesting there. My guess.

Personally all the cyborgs could die and never come back for all i care, i have never liked them one bit.

But if i had too choose id go with Sektor, just because he has a good storyline going, with the Tekunin thing (if they use it) and the whole fued with Sub-Zero. Cyrax to me is shit and boring, and Smoke i dont know if id consider him a Cyborg anylonger and he should go back to his human form anyhow (but that will never happen)

no its not fact that Cyrax is back on Earth. if he was then we probably would of heard about him in MKD. hell he may have even been in MKD if he really is back on Earth. but really dude dont be so easily fooled. nothing is confirmed on the matter yet, but ive ran into many ppl and myself believe Nitara didnt send Cyrax back to Earth. it just doesnt seem to be in her nature. hell she should of been in Deception just cuz she is so deceptive and minipulative (spelled correctly?). so where did she send Cyrax? possible show doesnt even know herself. just some where random maybe. my guess is to the Neatherrealm tho since she probably think Cyrax would never escape from there. pluz if Cyrax really got sent there then he could run into Noob Saibot and Smoke or Nightwolf. either way would be good for the story line of Cyrax imo. and well im thinking seeing Nitara and Cyrax in the Neatherrealm in MKD in Konquest is actually hinting to my theory being true. atleast thats what i believe.

I'd rather see Sektor return with Frost as a cyborg though.

Although I don't like the cyborgs, I'm not going to bash them in this post. They have their fans, and I think having one cyborg in an MK game is fair. My choice would be Sektor for this.

I would be interested in seeing Sektor back at least one more game. He was announced for MKD, and I like the Krypt concept art of him. The Tekunin should have an appearance, and Sektor and Noob could very easily team up against their biggest common enemy, younger Sub Zero and the Lin Quei.

Smoke didn't get a fair shot in his MKD comaback. He played second fiddle to Noob the whole time. Smoke should maybe miss next game, then return afterwards on his own, with a unique look and moveset, and his own storyline. I would much rather see Smoke as the new etheral form he had for his MKD alternate, with the ability to go from solid, to smoke form.

Never liked Cyrax, and never will. I think he lost a lot of fans in MKDA, so his chances of comeback have been lowered. Someone suggested making Frost a cyborg, oh god no. That would suck, we don't need any more robots, especially if it involves changing an existing character.

For people wondering where Cyrax is now, in terms of story, I think the best guess is that Nitara did send him back to Earth. It's most likely that he got her the orb she wanted, Nitara's not an evil character, so it's likely she kept her end of the deal. Then Nitara herself went to her world, her time fighting being over for now. This also means Cyrax was stuck, and unable to help his friends in the fight against the Deadly Alliance.

Frost being turned into a cyborg Noob would be awsome imo. if that would happen then that should insure Frost to be much different thatn Sub-Zero. so then ppl hopefully wouldnt call her a Sub-Zero rip-off any more. afterall she is a rip-off of Subby in MKDA imo. still like her tho but stoped playing as her cuz she didnt have any thing better than Sub-Zero had in MKDA. so making her a cyborg (not a robot. a robot and cyborg arent the same thing)i think would really set her apart from Subby. plus imo thats a good way to bring her back. plus whats wrong with Cyborgs? do u like Jax? he is a cyborg u know.....

anyways about Cyrax and Nitara.... Nitara minipulated Cyrax into helping her. she sent Reptile to attack Cyrax to damage his arm so he couldnt get back to Earth. and after that Nitara went to him and said he could help him if he helps her first. really i dont see her sending him back to Earth. i mean it just doesnt seem to be in her nature or any vampires nature. afterall vamps r suppose to be evil. i mean they come to Earthrealm and feed off of us..... just saying ill bet my life on it that Nitara didnt send him to Earth. it just isnt some thing Nitara would do.

possibly Cyrax didnt find the orb or she did but when she broke it it did nothing. so she sent Cyrax some where cuz she was pissed. i have a hard time finding that her realm was freed from Outworld just like that actually being canon.

I still don't like the idea of having any more cyborgs, even less when it involves changing existing characters. There's been three cyborgs already, and imo, they are boring and limited. What can you do with them besides the "automated killing machine" or "cyborg finds it's human soul" both of which have been done to death. To me, they are just too sci fi for MK. Give Frost some more unique ice moves, and she will be perfect as she is. Jax is not a cyborg, he is a human with bionic arms, those are not his real arms, they are worn over his natural arms. I did get the cyborg/robot thing mixed up though.

Why I think both Cyrax and Nitara went to their respective homeworlds is simple. This is what was shown in both characters MKDA endings, and nothing has happened to contradict it. Neither was involved in the main battle against the Deadly Alliance, so neither were affected by Onaga coming. Until an alternative scenario is given as to what happened to Nitara and Cyrax, I think it's safe to assume that both went home. Besides, who says vamipires are supposed to be evil? Nitara is listed as neutral, and even the most famous vampire, Dracula, is not truly evil.

Why wouldn't it be in her nature? What do we possibly know of her motives? And no, vampires aren't stereotypical schemeers and sociopa-thic do-no-goodders. Besides, Nitara is based upon eastern himalayan mythos, the Rodjung, blood sucking demons of the night with weakness to the sun, not (rather mostly not) upon the draculian archetype. Besides, Bram Stoker's Dracula had a strong sense of honor balanced between his animalistic motives (I'm talking about the book). Rodjungs are intelligent, however ferally dangerous demons, who eat souls and feed on blood.
(should recall where this info came from, but Nitara IS 90% resembling a rodjung what can't be coincidental, but rather intentional. And understate-ment is already out somewhere, back when MKDA came out, something about charaxcter designs)

Just becouse she is a vampire, she isn't what most stereotypes, or stan-dard everydayish -mostly partially less logical on long terms- conclusions should dictate, believe me.

So, untill it's proven as a fact, I think it's more logical that she sends im back to relative safety (Earth, another Outworldlu position, your choice).
Why would he do him harm without gain is beyond me, since it would be more wiser to have a satisfied, potential ally (occasional compagnion or partner) who can be called upon later. I think that Midway is focusing too much on mental dementias of villains rather on their -should-be- more logical role. For example, Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung was a perfect and capable schemer, but only Tsung retained this aspect throughout the MK saga IMO. Others have lessened it or completely lost it.

From my prespective, Cyrax has been sent back to Earth, IMO a future and fairly willing resource is a much better incvestment than letting him rot. As for the cyborgs, well, I dunno, Sektor is IMO one of the dryest characters, and I wouldn't whine should he be permanently lost by Midway. But, ano-ther sequel what brings closure to his plotline is in order I think for MK.

Changing existing characters is actually good imo
The evolution of characters is good it makes things change and therefore be interesting. Just like Snake from MGS1 to MGS2. In MGS1 Snake was an expendable object of the government that would do what they say. In MGS2 Snake was acting from his beliefs and acting for a better future.

If things were always the same they would be boring. eg Scorpion's story before MK:D. Now it has changed and he has become more interesting.

This isn't the sort of change we're talking about. Yes, a character's storyline should change and evolve, no one is disputing this. But what we are talking about is changing a character (Frost or anyone else) from human/humanoid being, into automated cyborg, which, imo, would be just wrong. Many people dislike Smoke's change into cyborg, for example.

I don't count Reptile here, as they said from the start that he was a disguised lizard man, being a reptillian monster has always been his thing.

Your example, Snake, changed in his story and beleifs. But he was always a human soldier/agent, he never changed from human being to cyborg, alien, singing purple dinosaur, whatever.

ugh...bottom line, there should be NO MORE tag teams...i don't care who it is... sektor and noob fighting together against sub would make sence...but plenty of charactars have fought together(alliances) and have not actually fought together(tag team) if ever there was a chance for two to be a tag team it should've been shang tsung and quan chi in deadly alliance...but back to the topic

sektor i believe should return...he has huge story potential thus far and could be a huge player in the next m.k....his look needs to be overhauled from a traditional cyborg look...some fitting specials and good fatal's and he could be great

smoke(my favorite of the three cyborgs) should return IMO...bottom line is he was screwed over big time in mortal kombat deception...he's been gone since mk3 and returns as nothing more than a puppet...a half @$$ charactar with no real moves or combo's of his own...COME ON!!!...if he is to return...he must be his own charactar.. expand upon the eathereal concept of his costume...he could look awesome....smoke has so much potential for awesome moves and fatals and the story potential is also present

I fully agree, there should be no more tag-teams. It was a nice concept, but one not to be used again (like the fighting engine also) Smoke isn't one of my top picks, but he is a a favorite, and that little "subordinate" rubbish didn't go with me too well. If they were partners, I could understand that, but as to being Noob Saibot's lackey....

One could argue that having too many cyborgs is like having too many ninjas. But I've never believed in there being too many ninjas, or too many cyborgs, so I say bring all three back. But if one had to return, Sektor has my vote. Seems a little psycho with his little 'cyborg army', and I'd like to see how that plays out.

But if they do bring Sektor back, he needs an original costume.....we don't need a red MK:DA Cyrax or MK:D Smoke, as they would probably do.

No, some people are just sick of cyborgs, some have other reasons. I dislike Darrius, and it's not because he's black, but because he lacks moves and a storyline. Jax is one of my top picks though, along with Ermac, Kenshi, Shang Tsung, and Quan Chi.

Still on the Metal Gear Series. What about Grey Fox ? In MG2 he was a normal person and in MGS1 he was a cyborg ninja. He became much more popular in MGS after he was changed to a cyborg ninja. There was much more exposure of him for MGS1 though.
