That sounds ridiculous. That's like trying to pair up Liu and Shang or Hotaru and Havik.

Not so much. Dairou, Darrius, Havik, and Hotaru have very little to offer to the overall plotline as it stands now. There was no build up towards them becoming prominent figures in the MK universe, and I wouldn't appreciate it if they went with this idea.

Dairou and Darrius are both suited to be enemies rather than allies, but both should be axed in my opinion. As much as I like Hotaru, and how much I'd want for him to return, it wouldn't bother me if he didn't. These four characters are very...boring, if not somewhat cliche (except for Hotaru, who had an interesting twist and all) in their own respects.

But your post made it sound like they should become the new bosses of MK. You should make your posts clearer.

I love Darrius and Dairou, and would love to have them in future MK games, but your 'Deadly Alliance' idea is stupid.

Hopefully Dairou finds out about what Darrius did to his family, and a rivalry starts, with Hotaru and Darrius' rivalry still going on of course. And Havik just wreaking havoc. The Order/Chaos idea is intriguing.

Dairou is far from being a good guy. Hotaru is far from being evil.

The first thing I thought of when I read the title was:

I can understand you're a fan and all, but neither character really has the relevance to become the main focus of the story. I'm not even for Darrius returning. Dairou I'm more keen on, though.

Given the nature of the 4 characters (Hotaru, Darrius, Dairou, Havik), it would be difficult to really classify them as either "good" or "evil", hence their "neutral" alignments. And because of the nature of those characters, as well as their plots, it makes it difficult to determine who is the main protagonist and who is the main antagonist.

Dairou isn't a good guy though seems to kind of be a somewhat good person at heart. Darrius isn't a bad guy though he does use tactics that give people the impression of him being a terrorist.

They were trying to implement Dairou ever since MKDA was planned. infact, he was one of the first character concepts. You could only to assume out of sheer bias. And that is pretty weak.
