I was just thinking about this, i feel like they're avoiding the new characters but definitely shouldnt

They prob didn't consider packs for these characters in case they weren't popular. If DLC plans go beyond the Kombat Pass and whats already been datamined we'll prob see something then.

Yeah I agree, they probably wanted to see how well received they were before making too many costumes for them, especially ones they want to sell

Goro needs some alts as well. ive complained about this a lot so thats about all I'm gonna say lol

Yeah the new characters all need at least one more skin. You have Erron Black with his trash alt, Jacqui without her jacket, Kotal looking like Goro, Cassie's awesome alt with shit hair, and D'Vorah in a swimsuit.

It'd be nice to have new characters in costumes that don't suck.

Even better. Why not free DLC skins for new characters, specially if we get Kombat Pack 2?

I'd LOVE a 50's style one for Cassie Cage in adiner or cherry dress and wearing ROLLER SKATES!!! With her bubblegum it would be perfect!

Her and Jaqui need some more exciting-unique skins.

Well I do love Cassie's Tournament Cage inspired costume.

Jacqui is wearing a tanktop instead of body armor. She should get something that isn't military too.

Every new character needs a third costume, but not a goofy one. They need an actual costume.

Not once did I make that connection. I thought the Aztec/Mayan inspired subtleties in the outfit are indicative of his origins more so than his primary.

As for this thread, yes. They definitely need more costumes. I'm wondering who thought Erron was sexy enough to pull off that alternate.

Now, young Kenshi....different story. Give him a shirtless alt and we're in business.

If Kotal gets another alt I really hope he's blue (or greenish w/e). His alt makes no sense. I don't buy the line about it being paint as the comics have said otherwise and are considered canon.

I don't remember the comics saying anything about that. I follow the comics on a lot of things but Kotal has pale skin with war paint. Zoom in on the model and you'll see it. That's canon.

His entire race is blue in the comics. He's blue as a child if I remember correctly.

I thought it was pretty well established at this point that the MKX game and the MKX comic are practically separate entities and not at all on the same page. There's so many story inconsistencies and omitted events that I stopped reading the comic altogether.

For example:

Comic Book Kotal Kahn - "We must maintain our friendship and alliance with Earthrealm. Also our people are blue."
MKX Kotal Kahn - "KOTAL SMASH! KOTAL HATE EARTHREALM! KOTAL NOT BLUE!"

Comic Jacqui/Cassie/Erron Black: "Let's kick the crap out of the cowboy here and make a break for it. He's gonna pay for kidnapping us with the Black Dragon!"
MKX Jacqui/Cassie/Erron: "Huh? Is that an earthrealmer in Outworld? Who is that guy? I thought Outworld was purple."

Comic: "Kamidogu! Reiko! Blood God!"
MKX: "Rofl cammy who? War Gods? Puerto Rico?"

Lol fair enough. I still say his alt should be blue, he looks way cooler like that.

Things like the Kold War and the Brazil pack could've easily gone to some of the new characters. I wonder why they haven't, and probably won't, do it.

It would be so stupid if they don't get a third. They took all this time to establish them into the story, and really made them seem like important characters. It would be a crying shame if they don't get an extra. Again, not a goofy ball costume or non-canon one. They deserve a true alt.

How about shit skins for all characters turning everyone black except the already black ones. They did 1 with Tanya and all the black racists loved it.

People expressed the concern that Tanya was very light skinned, which seemed out of sorts with Tanya fans. Then we have this new design that is just as good and I have no preference one way or another. People are framing this like they took away real development time to redesign her: To those people say... Changing her skin color would have taken like 5 minutes. They must have wanted to TOTALLY REDESIGN HER this whole time.

Her old design looked much like her mk4 iteration.

Her new design looks like her Deception iteration.

...and then there are the "Jade and Tanya ARE NOT BLACK" people, like the gentleman above.

lol this is the best I've read on here, because its true. I guess it would be too hard to cram all that in a 2 hr game, but still, the whole "Kotal serving the heores heads on a platter to Shinnok" is similar to the "Raiden giving Quan Chi his team's souls" when you're looking at the Komic Kotal.

I was just under the impression that Magic was so common in Outworld people could just alter their appearence with some cosmetic magic spell. Today Kotal feels like being Blue, tomorrow, pink, etc. Like the reason Mileena has lips now is she took a "gimme some lips" potion, or something.
