I think they should make the story mode (normal battle mode, not konquest) more specific for each character. By that i mean everyone fights his/her own enemy in the end. Or they should make it just like DOA 3 where you fight two story people in the middle of the game.

This is an example:
Battle someone in the end:
Lets say Sonya:
1.Scorpion (Random fight)
2.Sub-Zero (Random fight)
3.Raiden (Random fight)
4.Nightwolf (Random fight)
5.Mileena (Random fight)
6.Li Mei (Random fight)
7.Kenshi (Random fight)
8.Jade (Random fight)
9.GORO (Or whoever the Sub-Boss will be)
10.The One Being (Or whoever the final boss will be)
11.Kano (She fights Kano in the end as HER enemy and gets her own ending)

But of course some people (like Raiden perhaps) dont have to fight someone in the end cuz their story is about the one being.

DOA Style:
Lets say Sub-Zero:
1.Nightwolf (Random fight)
2.Ashrah (Random fight)
3.Baraka (Random fight)
4.SCORPION (as a story fight where they talk just like in DOA 3)
5.Liu Kang (Random fight)
6.Jade (Random fight)
7.Sonya (Random fight)
8.NOOB SAIBOT (as a story fight where they talk just like in DOA 3)
9.GORO (Or whoever the Sub-Boss will be)
10.The One Being (Or whoever the final boss will be)

I got these ideas when i played MK:DA(but didnt post them back then) with Kano and i didnt fight Sonya AT ALL! Then in the end i won against Shang and Quan and then his story was about killing Sonya! lol. isnt that a bit dumb?

So anyway what do you all think is better:
1.The one where you fight someone in the end after the Final Boss.
2.The DOA Style.
or
3.The same as MK:D, without any changes.

Post your thoughts!
PS. Dont hate me for posting this (If you dont like it that is).

Well I've never played DOA, but their system sounds good.

I have always wanted arcade mode to be more personal. It seems sill for example, for eg Sonya to fight say Jax, Kung Lao, Kitana, Jade, Rayden, Bo'Rai cho (could be chosen in that order randomly) without any of her true enemies.
BUt like you said, if you had to do i the first way you said, then some people might not ahve an end character, and some their true nemesis might be dead already.

I like the DOA style idea.

Yes. However what would make it even more exciting is that depending on your way of finishing your opponents, different paths may come up. If -for example- you start to finish every good guy with LIu Kang- Kang may tend towards facing good guys and get an evil ending.

or something like that. I don't have any cleared down ideas.

This is another idea many have posted and they took the idea from Soul Calibur 2's Destined battles. It's a good idea and combined with Chromes idea (another aforementioned one), it'd be interesting in game. Sadly, given the MK Team, it more than likely won't happen to the full extent of Chromes idea, but could with the original if they made the effort to do it. I'd like to see, though you could think of the characters fighting their allies as competition to see who gets to face the bad guy or you could look at them as sparring matches.

Well, as I said this ideas has been mentioned before. And this is the MK Team we're dealing with. We know how lazy they are. Look at MKD. They couldn't even test it. This idea was wanted in MKDA. It didn't happen. It was wanted in MKD. It didn't happen. They might incorporate it into MK7, but the chances are that they won't. It's just a matter of waiting to see what happens.

I think there should be a tournament/arcade mode and a story mode...

In arcade/tournament mode, everyone you fight is just random and you eventually fight the boss. In story mode, everyone you fight is for a reason, and there should be some dialogue between the fighters and mabye little animations and stuff (like a cutscene). Each encounter doesn't have to be epic and a huge part of the story. It could be something little like this. Lets say you pick Reptile and in your story you have to go through the living forest. While Reptile walks through the living forest, he meets Smoke, and they have a little exchange of words which would get one of them angry and riled up, causing a fight to start. Nothing special, just a little bad encounter. But some fights should be big parts of the story, with longer dialogue between the characters and a better cutscene. This could be for battles between Quan Chi and Scorpion, Liu kang and Shang Tsung, Raiden and Shao Kahn, Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot, etc...

Another thing is that in story mode, when you fight your allies (like Liu Kang vs. Kung Lao) a little cutscene would explain why they are fighting. Like mabye they're just sparring for a big fight with the boss, or mabye one wants to stop the other from making a wreckless decision. In matches like these you can't perform a fatality in the end...

But don't worry you can still do all the fatalities you want in tournament/arcade mode...

Some other things I was thinking about was being able to perform fatalities in practice mode, and having a 1-player multyplayer mode. What I mean by this is being able to have a match like a regular vs. mode but with only one player. You would be able to choose your player, choose your opponent, choose their difficulty setting and choose the arena ( just like in Super Smash Bros. Melee). It would play just like a multiplayer match except the other player would be controlled by a computer. I think this would be good because you'd be able to choose your opponent and choose the stage you fight in, unlike arcade mode...

Yeah, that's a great idea. They should have it like Tekken 5, where you have a few random battles, then have a fight that is against a foe or friend, make it something connected to the storyline, then a few more random battles, another fight against someone in relation to your character, then the sub-boss and final boss. When you know someone you're fighting, there'd be a brief cut-scene between the two.
