Ed Boon continues to pile it on when it comes to some form of further support for MKXL. Today, Boon put up a poll on Twitter asking, who among the original cast and dlc needed buffs the most?

Choices for the original cast were: Kenshi, Sub Zero, Kung Lao, and Kitana.

While choices for which dlc needs buffs were: Tremor, Bo Rai Cho, Goro, and Jason.

Voting is still open, so if you'd like your voice heard Boon's Twitter can be found here...

Who out of these choices do you think needs buffs the most? Somebody you feel is missing from the polls? What would you change if you had the chance? Leave your comment below.

Leave it to Boon to fuel the rumor fire. Interesting as don't I remember him also saying a while back there wouldn't be anymore patches for MKXL? I mean, with Injustice 2 in full effect, I can't see them bothering with another patch unless there IS in fact more content coming.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I have a hard time believing it'll be a full blown Kombat Pack 3, even though he name dropped it not long after the Injustice 2 announcement.

I don't know about buffs, but the DLCs sorely need alts.

Yeah, at the least I'm expecting a costume pack and a patch. At most maybe 2 characters and a patch.

Aren't they all pretty balanced?

I guess i wouldn't know, having my past-gen release cancelled and relying on trips to my friend two counties away to get any MKX console action.

...The salt is strong with this one.

If he's not, he's certainly not far off. Far too meter dependent for a character that takes forever to build meter. Parry is pretty useless. There's just no real reason to ever use the variation.

I'd also say that, while Grand Master is pretty strong, it still has quirks that shouldn't be acceptable. Not being able to use optimal combos on female hit boxes, characters like d'vorah and alien being able to violate the clone freely with their hitbox-less limbs, etc.

Well, you all got your Tremor now. Can we finally move on?

I agree that Sub-Zero Unbreakable is very weak, but it is a solid defensive variation. I favor Cryomancer and it is/was my main online variation. I love Cryo...dat uppercut reach!

I'm shocked Tremor won the DLC vote - he's by far one of the most overpowered characters. I've seen nearly infinite combo strings performed with him online. There's no need for buffs on Tremor at this point, he's solid.

I agree with the Sub-Zero poll result. Certainly feeling the lack of love that went into him, and often wonder what crawled up Boon's ass about Sub-Zero in recent years.

Interesting results to be sure. I'm sure most of the votes for Tremor were probably done by those that are still salty about up rock's hard to blockable being nerfed(even though it still exists with ex up rock). I'd have voted Goro personally, but I honestly don't know how I'd change him.

Kenshi should have won the launch character vote. He's just not viable in this game.

And just throwing this out there...I want "butcher" Leatherface to get his vortex back.
