What's the criteria for it? I kinda stopped giving a damn about trophies a few years ago (As it so happens, when my kiddo was born). Only on certain games will I actually strive for trophies and achievements. I otherwise can't be bothered unless they unlock something within the game as well.

I still don't have the MKX platinum. I'm missing the 10 wins in a row trophy. I'll try again once XL launches. There should be plenty of new people my below average record will match me with.

Except it won't because there's no ranking system of any kind. You just bought the game and are playing online for the first time? Here go against this guy with a 5000/250 win/loss record. It's even worse because there's a trophy that has you get 10 wins in a row on Ranked. So either you have to get lucky and play nothing but noobs or be ridiculously good.

But without a fair ranking system, that trophy is complete horseshit. So NRS can fix the netcode but you can forget about playing people on or around your skill level.

That said, congrats Casselman. I got the platinum back in May. I had a lot of time on my hands and played the game for a month straight.

Mk9 was legit aside leaving practice mode going while at work to rack up the 24 hours with each character. But my PS3 fried after that gauntlet so I paid my due. Haha

Mkx is a bit hard. 50 kombat modifiers which is at least 39 unique living towers plus krypt, 50 living towers, 1000 hits on invasion bosses, level 50 all factions and 65 in personal level, 10 ranked streak, a tower with all chars as well as fatalities and every character variation full match wins.

It goes on and on.

MK9 I had nearly every trophy except for a few here and there and all the online ones. I never managed to connect to an online match.

Being the big achievement whore that I am, I usually jump at the chance to 100% games that I love playing. I believe I currently have 44 games where I've gotten every single achievement available. There are some franchises where I have or almost have every achievement from every game (Assassin's Creed and Batman: Arkham being two of them, working on finishing Arkham Knight's last challenge DLC now) however the MK games, despite my deep and passionate love for them, I cannot bring myself to complete them. The online achievements kill the fun of achievement hunting for me and I cannot stand luck based / grind achievements.

The people I tend to play with online never give rep in King of the Hill, or when they start losing they change characters and start spamming things like a crying child instead of using tactics so I gave up on attempting those a long time ago. The one time I attempted to grind it in a room with a friend we kept getting party crashers who knew what we were doing so kept fucking with us for an hour or so so I just said "Fuck it, I'm done" and moved on to another game entirely.

Congrats, i'm actually surprised at the amount of people that have it, I thought there would be more. I finished MK9 besides the 24 hour with each character thing, so I wanted to actually finish MKX this time around and got it like 2 weeks after the game came out. The achievement that pissed me off the most was surprisingly the watch every test your might death animation one. I literally had to sit there for like an hour straight just failing test your might, it was the most annoying thing lol.

I have it, according to PSNProfiles it took me 2 weeks 3 days.

MK9 took me 2 years 7 months.

Both were extremely enjoyable though

I have it. I don't remember when I got it exactly, but I believe it was sometime this past Summer.

I don't think I'll ever 100% the game myself. I'm too loyal to the Black Dragon to go team hopping for the achievements.

The MkX achievements are to much for me to take on sadly.
