Anyone else like to see an updated version of this level in mkx or in mk11? I just love the background, the music and the hail whenever it decided to do so smile

The House of Pekara would be an interesting place to revisit. I have to admit though that I want to see the Lung Hai Temple from MKDA comeback and make good on the awesome and sinister premise it had.

"The Lung Hai Temple serves the Great Sea Dragon with sacrificial offerings. Defeated warriors are sacrificed to the dragon from a floating platform that is slowly rowed by the temple oarsmen on the crow's nest-like barrels on the ocean's inlet."

I know i absolutely loved the premise for lung hai! The level turned out awesome, but seeing a sea monster swimming around in the watery grave knocking the raft around until the loser is devoured smile

I was just thinking of that stage earlier!! I love the music for it especially!! I love the story behind the stage with Kenshi and Shang Tsung

Ditto! We know they've got a weather system in MKX, too. So that'd be nice. The rain was one of my favourite touches.

Yes to both of these. Man, I used to battle my brother and best friend on the falling cliffs everyday, for hours at a time. So epic.

Sadly MK9 didn't restore the awesome stages like Pit III and the Bank while those that did return lost much of their charm. The latest stream makes it appear as if there are only 13 stages so hopes of at least some stages returning is unlikely.

House of Pekara is one of my all time favorite MK arenas. Definitely my favorite from the 3D era. I'd love to see how they could make this look with modern graphics.

I also really liked The Lung Hai Temple, the Palace Grounds and Sarna Ruins. Wu Shi Academy was pretty awesome too. MKDA had some amazing arenas.

There were some awesome arenas in the 3d era that I would love to see rendered in next-gen graphics on a 2d plane. House of Pekara is definitely one of them. Some really cool ones like the one from MKDA with the acid vomiting statues would be hard to translate into 2d though...

YES!!! Yin Yang island had the fun music that changed. The 'Yin' music was reminiscent of Mario Party games lol. YY island was very cool.

It's a bit odd that Nethership interior and exterior weren't in the same game. Here's hoping for something similar now.

House of Pekara was awesome, but I'm surprised nobody mentioned The Chamber of Artifacts yet, two of my all time favourite stages of MK.
